21 Day: RABID

¡Apagando las luces! Where's the fun in playing fair?
21 Day Kemetic Challenge: Days 5 and 6
I had a lazy weekend. I needed it. :c
Day 5: How do you communicate with your gods? Can you hear their voices in your head as thoughts, do you get feelings or emotions, or anything else?
My gods are rarely “chatty” and manifest in different ways. Lioness Lady (who I’m convinced in Sekhmet in some syncretic form) communicates to me mostly through dreams or impressions (like a hand on my shoulder). She also shows up as an impressive feeling of “STEP ASIDE WEAKLINGS, I GOT DIS”. Aker is more subdued. He feels like a blood-rush of happiness, like I chugged a Monster loaded with lithium.
The other gods, I have to enter a meditative state to communicate with. Khenti-Amentiu never outwardly speaks to me, rather he communicates through impressions in meditative states, like there’s someone right behind me.
Day 6: Talk about your relationships with your gods. How do you build these relationships? What are they like to you?
It depends on the deity in question, really.
Every morning I offer senut to the gods, doing my best to time it with the sunrise. I then put on my robe and wizard hat ritualized items (like Sekhmet’s bracelet or Aker’s amulet) and then get dressed. That way, I carry reminders of them everywhere I go.
And the relationships are...varied. Aker and Lioness Lady are like loving parents. Khenti-Amentiu is very much the “Capital ‘G’ God” you’d expect him to be: Imposing sometimes frightening. Simultaneously distant yet close. Ma’at (the Netjer) I feel manifesting whenever I’m doing something selfless (like volunteer work at the hospital).

Wow I feel so much better physically and emotionally. Today at work I noticed I could bend down without any pain to pick up a safety flag off the ground. I used to have to kneel down to do the task. It’s also day 16, the pictures are from day 15 and day 1 of the program. Also want to thank Connie my wife for being there and doing the program.
