Way to make your DM & entire party hate you instantly in one turn: 7lvls of Arcane Trickster + 2lvls of Fighter, fire resistance, boots of haste, and a wand of fireballs.
Fireball, hasted action, fireball, action surge, fireball, hasted action, fireball = 32d6 fire
Meanwhile fire resistance, evasion, hasted advantage on dex saves, and a rogue's normally very high dex means you take no (or at least VERY little even if you roll terribly) fire damage no matter how small the room.
Plus, if you time it right the first fireball could also be a 4d6 sneak attack as a lvl7 Rogue.
And even without a wand of fireballs and boots of haste, you could still cast two fireballs in one turn with no risk of damage to yourself using this build once you get to lvl 13 Arcane Trickster.
Zaf currently pre-gaming for her first 5e tabletop session of 2024, a long-postponed resolution(?) to the level 3 adventure in “Keys From the Golden Vault.”
Look at that poss GO!!!
This was a first for me in a lot of things. Especially with how dynamic a pose this was. Kinda wished this was digital or had better coloring tools because it looks too good to not finish further, but for now, we leave it as is xD
(Lore talk of how he accidentally created breakdancing.)
Rhaya has a unique style of dancing that had him combine his parkour, rhythm, and acrobatic skills into four core aspects: footwork, floor movements, momentum based movements, and freezes that demand his balance and full body coordination.
It was a breakthrough he found quite by accident during a dueling match where he got creative with his movements and kicks, and it took him YEARS to develop and perfect. Rhaya mainly did it to try and use it for fighting, but found it’s just as good for just performance. He’s still not quite where he’d like to be in the fighting aspect, but he thankfully has a lot of people to help with that.
Happy new year! I'm breaking in 2020 with my first ever rogue subclass: the mad artist archetype. Mad artists are lunatics who see beauty in death and view killing as some kind of sick performance. This character trope is a personal favourite of mine, and has been around for ages and can be seen in all forms of media (think the Phantom of the Opera or the Joker). Mechanically, this subclass works differently to other roguish archetypes. While other rogues will sneak around in order to fight their opponents, mad artists are usually narcissistic performers who love to be seen, and so I designed these features with this in mind. In practice, this subclass should allow you to contribute to a fight and take advantage of your sneak attack without having to skulk around in the shadows. I'm really happy with this subclass, and really excited about the roleplay potential of it.
On an unrelated note, the one year anniversary of my patreon will be this month! I'm going to be doing a little celebratory post on the day, and if you want to help me with it, I'd appreciate you taking a moment to vote in this poll. Remember, if you want to support me and my content and get access to all my homebrew stuff, please consider pledging to my patreon. Hope you all have a great year guys!
EDIT: Master of the Arts now gives Performance proficiency, Euphoria now scales with Sneak Attack damage, Captive Audience has been completely reworked into an out-of-combat feature, and attacks from the Encore feature no longer have advantage to avoid it being abused.
I may be a bitch but I am anything but basic
**makes an edgy human rogue**
Ignore that.
Rogue Racket Heirlooms
Hello again! Now we’e got rogue items, personal favorite class. (I honestly can’t wait till we get to bard...)
There are a lot of rogue archetypes I wound uninteresting but a lot of the items we made compliment some of those features enough to make them a lot more compelling! Scout actually seems a lot more fun than I thought it was initially, and one of the thief items I’m a really big fan of.
Here are a few examples! As always, you can check out the post below to view the PDF which contains all of the items.
Take care!

The Five Things always found in Lucy Jones’ Bag
I’ve been wanting to do one of these for a while now and thought why not make it for a brand new character?
Lucy is a secretary and gossip queen. She adores a good hot mug of tea, relaxing at home, and frequenting the local drinking holes to take in all the local news. Anything she overhears can be used either for profit or blackmail (that usually up to her employer).
