I think the show should bring sexy back.

If I'm very honest, the last time the show made me think "hot" was Buck and Tommy's hospital kiss, and the last time it made me go “sexy” was Hen and Karen's first time in ‘Tomorrow’ (plus, I think it's actually the best sex scene the show's ever done).

it's just a bit frustrating I guess. Season 1 and 2 were very hot and sexy, and I think 2 is the sexiest of them all for a variety of reasons (*coughs* bathena's firetruck kiss, shannon and eddie's scene, buck and taylor' scenes) but after that it all feels so dry for some reason. And it's not like the couples of the show don't have the potential, even something as simple as Chimney and Maddie in season 6 was good, but idk.

It's not like I'm asking for the show to turn r rated, not the intent at all. But it definitely feels like they're not as playful as before, when they 100% could bring the sexiness back.

(and on another note, the queer couples should definitely get more scenes like that, again henren hasn't had a sexy scene since season 6 and bucktommy only handed crumbs like the daddy kink scene)

Rewatching the shooting episode s4 ep 14 survivors and I have 2 questions i remember asking myself when i watched it live years ago.

But firstly

1. I never noticed buck dropping his phone after getting the green light from Bobby about eddies surgery.

2. The captain telling Buck if he’s okay after trying to save his friend/family with his blood on his clothes and blood in his mouth was delivered so nonchalantly it made me upset and deeply uncomfortable like obviously NOT bitch who approved that scene?

3. Why the hell was Buck working after watching his best friend get shot in front of him? Pants, face, hands covered in blood shaking and the next day he had to get up for work THE FUCK!

It was a mistake to kill Bobby. It is making me leave the show for good

I have been trying to find the words for how killing of Bobby makes me feel and the Andy Swift , I have been following have put it in perfect words.

More than anything, however, I’m haunted by this excerpt from Bobby’s final speech: “I’m not choosing to leave you,” he said before succumbing to a deadly virus. “I chose to save my team because it was the right thing to do. It was never because I wanted to go. I don’t want to go. If I could choose, I would stay with you. Always.”

In spite of those clearly established stakes, 9-1-1 is also a comfort watch

It wasn't a great idea to kill Bobby off and I don't know how anyone in 118 can recover from it and focus on themselves.

Writing Buck as anything other than devastated and broken would be criminally dishonest to his character. Not to mention Athena and the unfinished house. Processing this loss in 3 episodes and a summer , while dealing with 911 calls and cop stories , is impossible and can't really happen

Grey mourned the loss of Derek for a long time and he was only related to Meredith. Bobby is everyone's chosen family. He is literally the one feeding them food and guiding them in and outside of work. There is no one to compare.

Changing the entire emotional support network of extended 118, is no easy task and giving it its due will make 911 a much sadder show than it is.

To be honest, as devastating as it is, I don't even think I disagree with the choice to kill Bobby. I have no idea what was going on behind the scenes -- whether Peter was ready move on or the choice was strictly from a narrative perspective of Bobby's story being pretty much told and the show needing to bring closure to it rather than leave us on the hook with Bobby simply leaving the team... at this point, why would he?

I'm sad to see him go, and I'm devastated for the team and Athena... and I hope Peter Krause was involved in this decision rather than being written off as a surprise.

But as a storyteller, I think it was a good choice. And I think there's been a lot of narrative leadup to this that makes it a satisfying full circle. And of course, even though he's gone, it's not really the end to Bobby's story. His firefam will carry him in their hearts, and I'm sure the narrative will, too.

I made myself cry writing this. But it feels good. 911 used to make me cry EVERY. EPISODE.

Don’t get me wrong I would love for buddie to go canon in one way or another, but I think the one thing that I really want if they do, is to make buck learn and realize that he has always had a family that is the Diaz’s. Literally from the tsunami arc which I always wish we can go back to and explore how but was such an important person to Christopher during that, but that was the reason why Eddie put Buck in his will and I don’t think he knows that. I think Buck thinks that it’s because he knows that he loves Christopher and that Eddie is his best friend, but it is so so much more than that and before buddie goes canon I need him to know that. The family that he’s always wanted the family that he’s always needed. Yes, it is the 118. Yes it is his sister that was his whole family, but it was also always Eddie. It was always Christopher. They’ve been a family since the beginning.

And counterpart to that I want Eddie to realize that what him and Shannon had was never something that was gonna be true to a happily ever after. That it was unfair to both of them to give up a life for the sake of bringing a new one to this world. They were just kids and they didn’t know what they wanted. and I also want Eddie to think that he could never be good enough for buck that he has insecurities not only his sexuality probably but also that he doesn’t wanna lose buck because he does think that he’s broken.

They would remind each other that they’re not going anywhere.

I honestly can’t even believe the shooting was season 4 and I experienced that shit live. I feel like I just started watching this show.

ok ok ok we have some parallel to when Taylor and Buck got back together and he was really happy and then Chris called bc eddie was having crisis and now when buck and tommy are on a date and are really happy and chris calls buck to when his parents come home for an intervention and tommy's like

"wtf? and Buck's like "Eddie needs me," and Tommy's like "okay but this seems like a personal matter, you shouldn't have to fix this for him" and bucks like "I can't not help him" and Tommy's like "oh".
