I know there’s a lot of talk rn about the Heartbeat Ban that Alabama passed, but please remember that Georgia is in the same situation but a far worse one. Ectopic pregnancies aren’t excluded from the bill like they are in Alabama, and the doctor must remove the ectopic egg, replace it into the womb in a procedure that is unnecessary and possibly life-threatening, and then have the person with the ectopic egg (bc not just women can have babies but I’m too pissed off to think of a better, gender-neutral term for this rn, deepest apologies and correct me if you know of a better term) give birth to it. Any item other than condoms for birth control is illegal. Miscarriages are seen as second degree murder and the person with the baby can face 30 years in prison. Abortion is murder and the person with the baby can face a life sentence or even the death penalty. Doctors can be given a 6 figure fine, life in prison, and have their license revoked if they don’t perform the procedure for the ectopic pregnancy or if they perform an abortion. Alabama is very much a bad place for anyone with a vagina to be right now, but Georgia is literally hell on earth

Women encouraged to go on dating and sex strikes as a protest against threat to Roe v. Wade
Justice Anthony Kennedy’s announcement that he’ll retire from the Supreme Court this summer has sparked new concerns that a second Trump appointee on the bench could help overturn rulings that conflict with conservative views — including Roe v. Wade.

If Doug Jones does this, he will win Alabama.
I’ve been very worried about the far-right religious demagogue and pedophile Roy Moore winning Alabama. He and his Democratic opposition, Doug Jones, have been running neck and neck, and even after 9 women spoke up about Moore molesting them (in one case the woman was 14 years old when she was assaulted) and other complaints that Moore stalked teenagers at the mall, Roy Moore still has a better…

A Quora Answer that is really Good™
I read something on Quora, and it really nails it down. And stripes away all the bs of pro-life arguments.
"taking away the right of a woman to have an abortion means she will have fewer rights than a corpse."
