Jez. Mid-thirties. Disabled US Army Veteran here to tell you not to join or support the military. I used to tag everything a lot, but after caring for my father thru hospice care several years ago I have been mentally & emotionally exhausted and my online habits were one of the things hit hardest, after my general creativity. I’m trying to get good at tagging things again, at least for major trigger warnings, but yeah... mental energy is not something I have a lot of anymore.

Easy Snack/Meal Ideas!

I don't acknowledge/adhere to the social norm of what foods are "okay" to eat at what time so these aren't going to be labeled by breakfast/lunch/dinner etc. i usually eat intuitively throughout the day whenever i get hungry but i know that doesn't work for everyone; so of course you can adapt these to fit whatever works best for you!
(this post was written with the intention to appeal to chronically ill people, mentally ill people, disabled people and those in €d recovery but anyone is welcome to use these ideas and interact as long as your intentions are kind <3)

microwave burritos
these are so easy to pop into the microwave and have plain or with salsa/pico or sour cream! i don't like meat mixed with other things, so i opt for beans and cheese, but most brands will have a chicken and bean or beef and bean option too! either way, a decent amount of protein and pretty filling:)
tuna
i know a lot of people think tuna is gross but i personally love it. i'm not sure about other places, but where i am, you can buy small pre-made pouches of tuna with seasonings or herbs and those make pretty good protein snacks. sometimes i'll make a tuna sandwich if i'm feeling up to it!
apples and peanut butter (or nutella)
super classic, super easy. some places sell serving size packages of peanut butter or nutella that are just the right amount for one apple! i tried a chocolate peanut butter one earlier and it was so good.
powdered juice
i think they're more well known as water flavoring but i refuse to call it that lol. but i'm referring to those little pouches of powder you mix into water and it turns into a juice! definitely not a substitute for a full meal or even a snack, but it's a part of my own routine to have one "fun drink" a day and it's a glimmer imo :^)
frozen fruit
get some frozen smoothie fruit and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute. it warms it up just enough to be chewable but still frosty and it's a good treat!
toasted ravioli
i just found out about these recently! i get them at aldi, but i bet they have them at other places too. you can put them in the air fryer for ~4 minutes and they go well with marinara!
yogurt and granola/fruit
pretty self explanatory, i really dislike plain yogurt but sometimes i'll put some granola in a fruit flavored yogurt and it's an easy filling snack! you can also put it in the freezer for a while to make a parfait :^)
any kind of individually packaged pretzels/crackers/etc and hummus or dip
i have a large family so we have these around often. i personally really like dots pretzels or cheesits and dipping them in hummus adds a little more protein which is always nice.
