don't ever date me because I will steal your hoodie AND your personality
on a scale of āI recognize that I steal personality traits from others and sometimes have trouble identifying who I authentically amā toĀ āeven the Myers-Briggs test canāt identify a personality type for meā where do you fall?
I hate how it seems like you need to outwardly and completely revoke and remove any hint of anything that could be construed as characteristic of your personality disorder for people to take your recovery seriously. Like yes, clearly there are parts of myself that are quite destructive and counterproductive that I'm working on changing. That being said, a personality disorder is formed through facets of a personality as a means of defense and protection while growing up. A personality disorder is a sword and shield, and while wielding these tools incorrectly is harmful, removing them entirely is dangerous.
