spencer, a little upset about his contacts, decides to put off sex, scared that he'll accidentally break something else.
reader, finding this insane, decides that he needs to initiate something.

the day at the bau was surprisingly calm. the no cases were urgent enough to be called in and there was just endless paperwork that needed sign-offs on. the lights buzzed in boredom as they watched reader helplessly try to get close to spencer, just for a kiss, just to be pushed away.
no hugs, no kisses, no glances, no nothing.
this was getting pathetic.
he was getting pathetic.
"that's the third time in the hour that reader's walked over to reid's desk." emily murmurs to derek, glancing over at him before looking back at the scene unfolding: reader holding spencer's should and spencer shrugging it off.
"they're dating. what'd you expect?" derek was unimpressed, just flipping though files, just as bored as the lights above him.
"yeah, but,,, spencer's denying the affection."
"maybe an argument."
they let it go. even if they intervened, they'd deny it with their lives, saying everything was peach perfect.

spencer's alone in the briefing room at this point, using the circle table to lay out crime scene photos
reader, being a little pressed now, decides to waltz in. spencer notices but doesn't say anything. just glances over, then back.
"my love.." reader murmurs, hands finding spencer's waist from behind as he starts to pepper kisses along spencer's neck.
"reader, i have work to do," spencer mumbles, hands moving to cover reader's, trying to remove them. that only earns a loud whine from him, reader burying his face in spencer's shoulder then as he holds on tighter.
"i know," reader drags out, starting to sway with him a bit. he was like a stupid, affection-seeking dog like this.
"give me love.. you've been ignoring me."
"have not."
"have too."
"have not."
"fine. take away my affection, i take away your ability to see."
and just like that, spencer's glasses were now on reader's face and spencer couldn't see past ten inches. he sighs and decides to turn in reader's hands, resting his own on reader's shoulders.
"were you really that desperate?" he says as he cups reader's face, thumbs brushing over his cheeks gently. reader smiles like an idiot at the small amount of love he was finally recieving.
"even more so."

They're used to the quietness at the beginning of your friendship, finding comfort in it. Kris is perfectly content sitting in the same room as you, just doing your separate things.
Later on in your friendship, Kris begins to open up to you as you open up to them. The amount of chaos you will create is infinite!
Kris now has two loud and chaotic besties!
They'll need a break from your presence once in a while, since you're loud and affectionate. Their brain needs to process the large amount of affection.
Once you start dating, they're a bit frazzled by how passionate you are with your affection. If they thought you were loud and proud about your friends before, then you're going to become a beacon of love and affection to them.
They love you very much, but they're going to need a few minutes away from your loudness and affection. Kris isn't fully used to it yet, especially from you.

Before his time at Greendale, affection meant nothing to Jeff.
He never gave people genuine affection, and the affection he received never made him feel anything.
Instead, it was a tool to get him laid.
When he started attending Greendale, he made a lot of friends, including you, who meant more to him than any person ever had.
He’d found something genuine.
You’d always been an affectionate person, even if it was only really to those closest to you.
Of course, if it made people uncomfortable, you’d refrain from making physical contact with them, but none of your friends really minded your hugs.
In fact, all of them (secretly or not) adored your hugs, especially Jeff.
You gave out hugs on different occasions, be it in moments of excitement or just when you were greeting them, but especially when one of your friends was upset.
The hugs were always so soothing and made them feel safe.
In fact, the first time you saw Jeff cry, which was just after his breakup with Professor Slater, you just couldn’t speak to console him, so you settled on giving him a warm, tight hug.
That’s when he realised that’s all he needed.
Something about that moment felt so right, being safe and secure in your arms.
He didn’t know why, all of a sudden, your touch seemed to release butterflies into his stomach.
Eventually, he could no longer ignore his feelings and asked you out.
From then on, you were Greendale’s hottest couple.
Though he hated to admit it, always trying to portray himself as the tough, aloof guy with all the emotional range of an Easter Island statue, your hugs and pecks on the cheek meant a lot more to him than anything else he’d ever experienced in a relationship with anyone before.
He wouldn’t have minded if sex was off the table for you two, because your affection was more than enough.
When it was just you two alone in one of your apartments, you’d end up cuddling on the couch.
You’d usually end up staying in that position for most of the night, considering you often fell asleep whilst hugging Jeff like a koala hugging a tree.
Even after a while of you two dating, Jeff was still embarrassed to reciprocate any affection you showed him. He’d never been a PDA kind of guy.
He didn’t mind you being affectionate in public, but Hell would probably freeze over before he kissed you on the forehead in front of your friends.
You didn’t mind this; you enjoyed hugging and kissing Jeff, be it in private or in front of the others.
It was around two months into your relationship that Jeff surprised you, and everyone else for that matter, by embracing you tightly (not giving you a chance to initiate the hug) and kissing your temple gently.
You were caught off guard so much so that you were speechless.
As was everyone else in the study room.
It’s not that you didn’t appreciate it, contrary to what your puzzled expression conveyed.
It lowkey felt like an emotionally repressed father embracing his adult son for the first time, if you can imagine that.
As your relationship progressed, Jeff made more of an effort to reciprocate your affection, usually through small actions like quick hugs and pecks on the cheek.
You can bet that it made Annie and Shirley say ‘Awww’.
ABED
Abed and affection didn’t go hand-in-hand (pun partially intended).
Physical contact could make Abed uncomfortable, and you understood that.
That’s why you only really showed affection to the others in the study group.
Even when you started dating Abed, you refrained from giving him any affection.
That puzzled him.
Surely, if you were dating, you should be affectionate with him too?
Had he done something wrong?
So, when you were sat on opposite sides of the couch watching Inspector Spacetime, Abed looked over at you asked: “Why don’t you hug me?”
“I didn’t wanna make you uncomfortable or anything. I didn’t think you liked when people touched you, even in a not-creepy-uncle kind of way.”
“I’d be comfortable with you hugging m-”
Before he could finish, you already had your arms locked around his torso, face buried in his hip.
You stayed like that for 30 seconds, before repositioning yourself so you could still cuddle Abed and rest your head on his shoulder.
You didn’t see the faint smile spread across his face.
Even if you had, you couldn’t have known how truly happy Abed felt in that moment.
From that moment, you’d initiate physical contact with Abed a lot more.
However, if you could sense that he was a bit tense or upset, you’d ask first, since you didn’t want to do anything to make him feel worse.
Sometimes, he would ask you to hug him, since it made him feel better.
Once in a blue moon, Abed would initiate contact with you.
Like, for example, if you were upset, he’d ask to hug you. If you agreed, you’d be secured in his arms until he figured you felt better.
Despite this, you were usually the one to initiate affection with Abed.
Your friends thought it was adorable when you held hands.
Yes, even Jeff, but he only admitted it in a passing comment that he regretted soon enough, when Annie, Shirley and Britta started teasing him about it.
You should have heard the excited cooing of Annie and Shirley after you kissed Abed on the cheek and left to go to the bathroom.
In fact, you did hear them.
You still heard them when the cafeteria door had already closed behind you.
While you liked giving Abed affection in public, you especially enjoyed being affectionate with Abed when you two were alone.
Like Jeff, he’s pretty tall, so cuddling him is, as it is with Jeff, like being a koala clinging onto a tree.
Even though Abed has trouble expressing himself, he loves your hugs and kisses.

Your friendship starts off a bit rocky, since she dislikes quiet people. Your friendship gets better, once you open up to her.
Once you begin to open up more, she becomes more friendlier with you. Combined you are both of Kris's loud, chaotic friends!
She will drag you into the chaos she and Kris start.
Susie isn't used to the amount of affection you give her, so she'll be slightly awkward about it. You're going to need to build up to full-on hugs and such.
As your friendship progresses, she'll encourage you to display yourself as loud, chaotic, and affectionate instead of just reserving that for your friends. Even if you can't choose how people view you, you can try to force an image of yourself.
Even though she's usually able to match your frequency in chaos and loudness, she sometimes just isn't able to. During these times, she'll ask you to just relax and eat some moss with her and Kris.

He's naturally flustered by any form of affection you show him, since you tend to give more affection than normal people. Ralsei doesn't mind, just give him a small warning before you decide to be affectionate.
Before you started dating, he didn't know if you had romantic interest in him or if you viewed him as a friend. You're naturally affectionate, so it sent him in a loop before one of you finally asked the other about it.
If you're physically affectionate, you're going to need to need to give him some time to adjust. Maybe start with holding hands before you tackle him in a hug?
If you're more inclined to tell him affectionate things, he'll absolutely melt. Just little compliments and notes will make him flustered!
Ralsei doesn't know how to give you the same affection you give him, but he tries his best. He'll try to do things he thinks you'll like, like writing you cute notes or giving you a pastry.
