I’ve decided to make this blog for two reasons:

- a) I love submission blogs and I have a lot of character headcannons

- b) most the aspec submission blogs are inactive, and I can’t even find one that’s for the whole aspec community

- c) (ok so three reasons) I’m a part of the aspec community and I’d like us to share our aspec headcannons and ideas to make the aphobes angry!!

Hey hey hey, my name is Icarus, or Leonardo, though I go by many other names too, and I use he/she/they and it/fae/mer pronouns (shown in two separate lists for readability). I am a member of the aspec community and I run @ace-disgrace-withamace and the Instagram account @the.world.is.ace.here (along with my friend Rain)

I feel like i should include my whole label thingie here also because like. I’m running an aspec blog. So uh yeah

Demiromantic and aroflux as well as abroromantic and probably a ton of micro labels but I can’t remember them hooray

Ok so rules:

First of all, any hate speech of any kind will be deleted. I will not argue with bigots.

Aphobes of any kind are not allowed. Why would you be here anyways, it’s an aspec blog for stars sake

Characters are allowed to be submitted by different people multiple times, either with different headcannons or the same. This is because A) one character could be many different kinds of aspec B) I will not remember

All kinds of aspec headcannons are allowed, including aplatonic and afamilial (yall are just as valid, no matter what other people say)

Please do not submit any characters from Harry Potter or associated works by or involving J K Rowling.

Cannon submissions are allowed too!

Look! I made! A thing! About the agender spectrum, including my design proposal for an agender spectrum flag. :D

Welp, I’m finally posting something specifically for this blog! Huzzah! :D

My description ended up a bit longer than expected, so I’ll put the rest under a Read More. Please feel free to give this a read, especially for the color meanings!

This is a proposed flag to represent the agender spectrum. I made this because there are various flags for the asexual spectrum and aromatic spectrum, but not the agender spectrum. There’s this flag that has gotten passed around a few time as an agender spectrum flag, but you can see in the archived tweet that it was originally meant as just a regular alternative agender flag.

Anyways, color meanings! The three top and three bottom bars are going from dark green to light green, to represent the variety of ways people can be agender and how they define their identities for themselves. Different experiences and all, you know? The yellow in the middle represents agenderism as a whole as a unique identity, as deserving of recognition and respect as other identities.

... do the meanings sound too cheesy? I kinda hope not, I like how they turned out tbh.

I was inspired by two flag designs by potionflags, this asexual spectrum flag and this aromantic spectrum flag! Both of those flags have kinda-sorta similar color setups as their original non-spectrum flags, so I went with the same idea for this one. I was originally going to asks the creator of those designs if we could maybe collaborate for designing an agender spectrum flag, but they seem to have not been active on Tumblr for almost a year. So I went ahead with just trying to put together something on my own.

Does it look okay? Any suggestions for color or meaning adjustments maybe? I was thinking of changing the bottom three bars to be unique colors from the top three, to represent something else, but I’m not sure what would fit nicely for this. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let me know, thanks!

(One last thing, I also got motivated to make this because of how all three spectra get mentioned together a lot, yet the agender one doesn’t get talked about on its own outside of a few social media circles. Which is super frustrating, but I’m hoping maybe I can do further work to change that. Maybe. :u )
