Weekly Focus - Temple of Carnelian

Isis brings the wisdom of Sekhmet to guide us this week. Sekhmet is a fierce and passionate warrior, and the properties of Carnelian embody her energy. Right now, we may be feeling lost, discouraged or disconnected from ourselves. Sekhmet reminds us that we’re stronger than we think, and peace is not far. There are times when we have to confront our inner shadows - our doubts, insecurities and fears. When we confront ourselves, the intimidations of the outer world fall away. Often times, what’s really holding us back is ourselves. Our fears tell us what we can and cannot do, but are not innate truths. Fears serve as teachers, and Sekhmet is here to tell us we have the power to break through the blockade. In your heart, you know what you want to do. Your soul is whispering to you. It’s time to follow your own passions and take the risk. Can you feel the obstacles dissolving before you? With graceful strength, step into your life now. Become yourself.  Read Part 2.

#JulyDeckBondChallenge Oh my, well it's strength is one I pondered, #TempleOfBlackObsidian, the healing processes that can occur when one looks deep within and listens to the call of their ancestors can be magnificent but only when they allow what they see and feel to be transformed into good, growth and a pivotal point in their transformational process. This deck can help with that exponentially. As for this decks weakest link, #PastLifePresentPower, it's apparently the card that has been following me on the daily; wanting people to know so much about heir past lives instead of living in and through the present times. Yes, knowing about our pasts can be powerful and help us to create powerful life no in the present, BUT when we focus so much on our past "now" lives and past lives, in general, it's almost like a ball and chain when we create a center of focus that is almost over bearing. Like this decks seems to be doing with haunting me with it past life obsession. #IsisOracle #AlanaFairchild

Too far ahead?

Read Part 1

What walls do we build for ourselves? What do we often tell ourselves when the opportunity for change arises? I don't have the time, I’m too busy. I can't find another job, this one is my lifeline, my security. I can't do that, I don't have the skill. I can’t leave this relationship, we used to be so happy.

Be mindful of the obstacles you build for yourself. When you catch yourself saying, “I can’t...” ask yourself the true reason why. If you are not happy where you are, is it not time for change? Implementing change in your life often means taking a risk, but when your soul is calling, it’s time to listen. Our fears can be powerful, but only as powerful as we make them. When the fear arises, know your higher self is telling you to go there because it’s where you need to be. You stand on but one stone of the entire road, trust your soul that it knows the way to peace. Evoke your inner strength and courage to seize your life. Get the new job, learn the skill, make the time for what you want, leave the relationship that has festered. You can do it.  A note: There are times when we truly don’t have enough resources or good health to do what we feel called to. Please do not ignore your inner whisper - do what you can. That’s truly what matters in the end. Doing your best, is always the best  you could’ve done at that given moment. A small step is still a step.

An Affirmation from the Butterfly Affirmations Oracle deck by Alana Fairchild

"I trust myself. I am wise. I am brave."

There may have been times where We lost trust in ourselves after making a decision or taking a risk that seemed to go in the opposite direction of where We wanted it to. We doubted our knowledge and the wisdom of our experiences. There were experiences and moments where We wanted to stand up and show up, but in the end We weren't able to.

This is a reminder that We did the best that we could in that situation, with the consciousness We had and the Tools We had.

We are still capable of making decisions that benefit our overall well-being (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, psychically, energetically, and economically) and uplifts our Souls, as long We are responding from Love. We've learned our lessons and are integrating them well into our daily life. We are wiser and braver than what our Minds can comprehend!

We can do scary things. We can make hard decisions. Whatever decision or risk you're thinking of, trust yourself, trust your Higher Powers. If We're unsure, ask the Guides and Ancestors! Ask them for courage, for honesty, for clarity - ask from unconditional Love and they'll respond in kind.
