Streaming Disco Elysium on Twitch: Episode 31 | ALifeLearned

In episode thirty-two of my adventures streaming Disco Elysium on Twitch I was SO sure I was going to finish the game but I didn't quite get there. We did find Ruby's hide-out though but apparently I took a somewhat uncommon approach to getting there. Check out the video

As the housing crisis continues to grow its important for people to understand the many different ways that a person can experience being unhoused. For every one person you see sleeping rough on the street, there are three to four people facing invisible homelessness. This means they are couch surfing, living in motels, or staying in shelter without any stable housing of their own. When I was 20 I faced invisible homelessness. This is a short video about my experience. Please share in the comments if you or someone you know has or is facing invisible homelessness and what you think communities should be doing to address this crisis effectively.

Every April London, Ontario experiences a huge outflux of students as they finish their semesters and head home for the summer break. This always leads to literally TONS of perfectly usable items being trashed when they could otherwise be donated. Living next door to a property where this was a particularly glaring issue, I simply couldn't stand by without acting. Thus over the last 5 years I have found ways to progressively save more and more of these perfectly usable items by bringing them to the thrift store. This year I was successful in bringing 27 loads of reusable items from the students waste straight to charity. Here's hoping I'm even more successful with these waste diversion efforts in future years!

Developmental Trauma Disorder Can Make Us Vulnerable to C-PTSD | ALifeLearned

I'm reading the book 'The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma' by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and it is completely revolutionizing my understanding of my childhood trauma and my perspective on my mental health symptoms. I highly recommend reading it if you or anyone close to you has ever faced what are called ACE's: Adverse Childhood Experiences or have felt you could relate to the symptoms I've shared related to my trauma over the years.

EarthFest 2026 is coming this Saturday April 25th, and its going to be the biggest and best one yet! If you're in the southern Ontario region, I highly recommend checking it out!

Streaming Disco Elysium on Twitch: FINAL EPISODE | ALifeALearmed

In episode thirty-three of my adventures streaming Disco Elysium on Twitch I successfully finish the story, barely dragging myself through the union stand off, adapting a less than conventional back-up-back-up partner in Cuno and discovering the location and identity of the murderer. I kind always suspected the location but had not even vaguely fathomed the identity of the killer. Check out my stream to see the end!

We accidentally got the materials to finally do our amazing art on the wall and nearly started the Communist meeting dialogue. Check out the video

We updated Gart about the pinball shop in the back and finally found the bullet under the floorboard in the shack. Check out the video
