Hey alterhumans, need ya help. Would it be crazy to say I’m a puppy with wings?

For a longggg time I’ve yearned for the sky and have felt phantom wings similar to when I feel a phantom snout, I think, pretty much since I was very little. I’ve been trying to go through all kinds of creatures with wings to see if I’m kinning anything else, but I really just don’t think I’m anything other than a puppy. Nothing else feels right. Can I kin smth like that? Kinning a puppy with wings? Is there a name for this??

(Sorry if any of the terms I used are wrong, I get a little confused sometimes!)

do any other alterbeings not really accociate themselves with their "physical bodies"? (idk any other way to phrase it or a better term)

what i mean is that when i look in the mirror i dont really see me i see a vessel that i control but didnt choose yknow, meanwhile my real body/my kintype self is locked away inside the vessel

is this just being a physical alterbeing? cuz im only recently thinking i might be one, and if so, is this part of it? cuz whenever i imagine myself i imagine myself as my kintypes doing whatever im doing but them i see my reflection and i remember "oh i guess i dont really look like that?" but also theres that disconnect from me and the person in the mirror?? it feels like the mirror person is a completely different person than me because they dont look like me, but also i can still recognize that to everyone else, the mirror person is supposed to be me

sorry if this doesnt make sense my head is kinda scrambled but if theres any other alterbeings that relate to this or know a term for this please tell me!! i dont like not having a word for what i am </3

folks out there who are fictionkin AND fictives how were you able to tell which was a kintype and which was your source, is it a different sort of distinct experience/vibe or is it just innate, instinctive knowledge that differentiates the two

Question; what's the term for when you identify with a creature but not in a kin way? Like something about the vibes is you but not YOU you? Like "yeah my soul might turn into one of those to guide people to safety" or something type vibe because like

Does anyone have any tips on how to figure our what breed(s) of domestic dog I am? I think I might be some kind of livestock gaurd dog but I don't think that's the only one..

I consider myself a physical therian, i dont use holothere bc i was told that it means to identify as nonhuman in every way, including biologically. I dont consider myself to have dog dna but i do transform into my theriotype and have the soul of a dog thats "trying to be free" by transforming me, but that dog is also me. thats the best way i can put it rn-

My questions:

1) I saw source that said physical therians are under the holothere label? Is this true, or are they like siblings?

2) I was trying to find a physical therian symbol and saw that ppl either use the holothere one or the transspecies one, are these the correct ones to use? Is there just not a symbol for them?

3) any way to simply explain physical therianthropy to someone who knows very little of it and is confused why one would want to be an animal? (This question is optional, just need some help explaining it to my gf)

Any help is appreciated! I just keep seeing sources saying different things about the same thing

I’ve been kinsidering that I might be a dog, human, and something else.

The “something else”:

- ⭐️Sleeps in a den of some sort (used to pretend that I lived in a den) (has always liked small but not too small spaces)

- Tree climbing

- Good at swimming

- Collects things

- *Nibbles*

- Omnivorous

- Likes nuts, berries, fish, bugs?, eggs, plants of some sort?, and scraps (like table scraps and stuff you’d find in the garbage).

- Smaller than a dog?

- Four legs?

- *sniff sniff sniff*

- *stops to listen and look around*

Confirmed identities:

- Human

- Dog, Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix

I’ve looked into otters, bunnies, and foxes briefly but they don’t feel quite right. Looking into raccoons rn. They feel closer but I’m still unsure.

I feel like almost all of these behaviors could be covered by my dog or human identity though. The only concrete thing I can’t explain is the strong urge to live in a small den.

Advice would be appreciated. <3
