imhumanization

(an alternative to "dehumanization" that affirms nonhuman =/= less than human)

lowkey considering saying "imhumanization" instead of "dehumanization" to describe, in a value-neutral way, the process of unlearning human traits and behaviors that don't suit you and expressing/becoming more nonhuman.

the im- in "imhumanization" is the same as in impersonal or impassive, which have mostly neutral connotations as words. it means "not" or "oppositely", so imhumanization says "becoming not-human / opposite of human" without inherently implying that nonhuman = less than human.

in the same way, impersonal and impassive describe being less personal / emotional, without inherently implying that it is inferior to being more personal / emotional.

it's slightly different from saying "unhumanized" because that implies someone was humanized/human-like/human before they went through a process of dropping those traits. "unhumanized" also has a neutral-to-negative connotation because searches say

most usages are either the same meaning as "dehumanization" / "subhumanization" and

in the context of losing humanity that needs to be returned, or being perceived to be "in need" of human influence

and it's different from "nonhumanized" because that implies never experiencing (voluntary or involuntary) formative human influence at all. "imhumanized" is moving away from formative human influence one's actually experienced

this is just my take as a weredog of color who likes to bridge gaps i see in alterhuman language, since it rubs me the wrong way when animal folk say "dehumanization" like it's a good thing, but then realized there wasn't an alternative that didn't imply nonhumanity was below humanity.

Intradisorders (link): Disorders headmates have that the body doesn't. For example being blind in headspace. Or having different personality disorders. These may or may not affect front. Fun fact: Is a medically recognized phenomenon!

Entradisorders (coined here): Disorders the body has, that may or may not carry over to headmates. Examples include being an amputee, or having a tbi. Can also refer to disorders singlets have.

Exodisorders - No flag, coined here: Disorders someone had in source, that may or may not have carried over. Examples being having been d/Deaf in source, but not here. Or having had ADHD in source, alongside here. For both headmates, and all kinds of alterhumans.

Avienby: A term for those who feel their being nonbinary is connected to birds in some way, for enbies that are birds, for enbies who really like birds, etc.

Moon Genderfluid: A term for those whose genderfluidity is connected to moons/the moon in some way, for genderfluid beings that are moons, for genderfluid beings who really like moons/the moon, etc.

Alternative deity-/godkin flag

Deity-/godkin: a term for someone who is a deity or a godkin.

This is an alternative flag for the term.

Design/term notes: was unsure what deity-/godkin flag you meant for me to be referencing. But I liked not one of them and found this deitykin flag from reddit and referenced it for the design.

The symbol of the flag consists of sun, moon and eye imagery. The eye imagery was requested, the sun comes from common mythos and Associations to deities and the specific moon imagery itself (the waxing moon connected to a circle aka the new moon and to the waning moon) is the triple goddess symbol that's seen in neopaganism. The new moon has the eye symbol inside it while the sun rays come out from it because it genuinely just seemed to fit. :) if someone wants the symbol without the use of the neopagan triple goddess symbol, lemme know.
