🍜The dream in itself is already quite hurtful yet with the added salt of your own words the next morning, you have already ruined his entire day. Scratch that, his entire week actually. Naruto has most likely made it already obvious to you that eventually he would like to start a family with you as he is excited to be someone's dad. So your words, even if you only said them out of inconsideration due to your own annoyance, cut far deeper than you would have anticipated. To him it implies that you don't think of him highly as neither lover nor evn father and with his orphan childhood, that adds only additional pain. Naruto has been fighting for his entire childhood to be accepted and acknowledged and your dismissive comment which you didn't even give much thought brings back a lot of unpleasant insecurities and feelings from back then. It's not like you get to be ignorant for long as the distraught look in his eyes immediately snaps you out of it but the damage is already done and no apology will do on that day. He forgives you. That doesn't erase that rotting thought you have planted within his heart. You may now spend the next few days with his clinginess amped up as you have subjected him to childhood insecurities. You didn't mean it, did you?

🕊️You haven't been in the best mood those last few days. Admittedly, Neji is not as delusional as to not think he isn't partially responsible for that. He tends to be quite overprotective of his beloved but he hopes to have you understand one day that he is only doing it out of love. Even though he is quite a prideful individuel, he has always been very gentle with you. Perhaps that is partially why you let such an uncourtly answer slip past your lips when he tells you of the strange dream he has had. You've been spoiled. You do not get scolded though. Instead Neji's face sobers up, staring at you quietly before he stands up and excuses himself, leaving you alone in the realisation that you have messed up. After all you are aware of his complicated history with the Hyuga Clan, realising far too late that he might have wanted comfort from your side when he shared his nightmare with you. The next few days he is colder. Not enough to the point of being cruel but enough to have you feel that he is disappointed. The questions you get asked as a result lead to heightened discomfort but you realise he expects an apology from you in order to return things to normal. He loves you but there are things he won't just overlook. Especially since he wants a family with you.
Eren Yeager
👊By now you should really know better that Eren requires delicate handling as he is a very complicated person. However, your sympathy has significantly waned ever since he has assigned his devoted followers to keep an eye on you for the purpose of 'protecting' you. Add then he basically wakes you up in the middle of the night all because he had a strange dream and felt the impulse to share it with you immediately after, and it should be understandable why you spit out those words in the heat of the moment. To your credit, the very long and intense stare he gives you after sobers you up quickly as you stumble over your apologies. Eren doesn't say a single word though. He just keeps on staring at you until you wish to wither away before he storms out of the cell, leading his Yeagerists to bombard you with questions of what you did. He returns the next morning after holding a little bit less of a grudge yet you know this isn't done yet. Your shoulders sag in exhaustion already creeping in when he eventually asks you if you despise the thought of having a biological child with him that much. Oh dear, he's about to trauma-dump, isn't he? You know he can be petty. One unthoughtful comment from you is all it took.
Sakamaki Shu
🎵The dream itself isn't all that unsettling for Shu as he hasn't really given the thought of fathering a child too much thought. Especially not considering the generational trauma he has inherited from his mother and father. Still, it is a strange dream nonetheless and hence the reason why he shares it with you the moment you stir awake. He hasn't bothered to wake you up as the dream isn't that urgent so he feels like sharing it with you when you wake up the next morning is the most appropriate time. Up until that point, he really doesn't care about this silly dream. Not until you grumble out that you would have a similar reaction if you were to have a child and would find out it isn't his. That is when you get yourself in troubles as the remains of sleep led your tongue to be loose and your thoughts to be unfiltered. The way his grip on your body tightens subtly like a snake slowly trapping its prey reminds you who you are talking to though. Just like that you are flipped around, facing him as he looks at you with a bored but slightly displeased look. Listen, he doesn't want any brats either. But if he ever bothers to put a child inside of you, you will show some appreciation. Relax for now, it's just an empty threat for now.
Kaneki Ken
🔲This is entirely on you. You have not just lived those last few months locked away within the company of a very paranoid half-ghoul only to slip up now. Your current lifestyle isn't necessarily fulfilling but you have carefully balanced every response and reaction to appease the likes of Kaneki. You've had a tough day though and that may just be why your exhaustion leads you to let out such an insensitive comment when Kaneki wakes you up as gently as he can to confine within you due to his dream. His mind is already reeling from the dream he has had as your overjoyed reaction within the dream has already clawed open some barely healed insecurities. Your comment is merely the final nail within the coffin and you do not even attempt to apologise initially as you do not know what good this will do. Not when he starts crying right in front of you and not even when his nails start digging into his palms until he draws blood. You're on alert, observing with a closed throat. Not even when Kaneki storms out to leave you alone do you relax though. In his mind you've basically just confirmed he is unworthy and you dread that as a result his paranoia will only spike and he will smother you even more as a consequence.
Aomine Daiki
💙What ridiculous thing did his mind just come up with? That is pretty much his reaction when Daiki initially awakes from his dream, glaring at the ceiling as if it's its fault. Whatever, it's just some dumb dream. Nothing to give too much thought. It's not even something he immediately considers to even tell you. However, to somehow fill the awkward silence between the two of you as you have been holding a grudge ever since that accident where he beat someone up and forced you to not break up with him, he just shares the story. He doesn't even give it much thought. He expects you to ridicule that dream of his. That's why he is taken by surprise when you mutter that you would have reacted just as overjoyed if you would have been in that situation. It's that passive-aggressive comment of yours which he brushes off in that moment that haunts him somewhat though. You're mad and need some way to vent out so Daiki has never stopped you from the occasional dry and resentful comment you throw his way. The fact that you so casually admit to the fact that the thought of him being the father to your non-existent child is the worst thing in your mind though offends him. Not like he would admit that though.
Tomoe
🦊This familiar is a particularly prideful individual who just happens to care a lot more than he would like to admit. This dream. This cursed dream. It bothers him far more than he is willing to admit even to himself. He thinks he'd make a fine father even though up until now he has never considered having a little one or two with you. Nevertheless, he is offended with the reaction of the dream-you to the point where you actually notice some of that offense the next morning when you have breakfast together. You do not bother to ask though why he gives you such a side-eye though, deciding to remain ignorant. Until Tomoe decides to casually bring his dream up, trying to play it off as nonchalant. It's that brash comment of yours though which nearly has the vein on his temple popping out as now the real you insults him to his face just like this. Unfortunately for you he is quick to notice that you want to get under his skin and so he quickly puts on a facade, unwilling to let you get this win. Nevertheless though, just as he is about to leave he puts a hand on your shoulder and whispers something into your ears that has a shiver going down your spine. Did you know that yokai experience a rut when they find their mate?
Yato
🪙Yuki can really only let out a multitude of grumpy complaints the moment Yato shakes him awake because he has randomly decided that he wishes to see you. What sucks the most is that Yato doesn't even tell him why this decision has been made, leading a very energetic Yato to drag a very sleep-deprived Yuki all the way over to your apartment. At least you suffer about as much as Yuki as Yato knocks on your window until you cannot ignore him any longer and let both of them inside. Good thing he has visited you so frequently that you have learned to remember him longer after every encounter and not immediately forget him. Still, Yuki winds up being kicked out of your bedroom as Yato eagerly flops down on your mattress, kicking his legs in the air like a school girl about to spill the tea during a sleepover. He indeed shares a secret but due to his cheerful tone and your tiredness, you completely miss that he actually wants some validation, hence why you end up verbally slapping him. He may brush it off by pouting but deep down he is slightly hurt but won't admit it. He wants you to notice. Even Yuki notices that he is sulking for the next few days though as he only ends up breathing even more down your neck.
Suoh Tamaki
🌹Tamaki is quite a drama queen. You just happen to be the unfortunate target of said drama queen. What perhaps infuriates you the most that Tamaki has remained oblivious for such a long time about his obsessive affection and now that guilt haunts him and has led him to this very annoying habit of oversharing all of his thoughts and feelings to you. That is how you wind up with him clinging to you from behind like a monkey baby the moment you leave the bed, lamenting about that terrible dream of his he had. In a typical theatrical gesture he retells all events and how much his poor heart hurt when the version of you in his dream appeared to be so relieved finding out that the baby isn't his. Violet eyes practically beg you to take him in your arms only to be shot down very cruelly by your comment. You really don't mean much by it as this is just a spontaneous way to spite Tamaki. He is quite a sensitive soul though which leads to your words not only hurting but also lingering. His family has also a bit of a complicated history which only results in the edge of your words cutting much deeper. He probably won't admit it as he struggles with that part of his past but his suffering will increase his clinginess.
Ikkyu
♠️As much as he resents the wish he made upon the shooting star as a child to become more popular, sometimes Ikki cannot help but wish that just a sliver of his charm would work on you. Other girls would literally kill to be in your position and his obsessive fan girls are the reason why you are trapped within this relationship to begin with. Still, he tries to stay patient and treat you like a good boyfriend should. In hindsight though it was maybe a bit insensitive from his side to try to lighten the mood after a near-assault by one of his fangirls on you by telling you about a weird dream he had the other night. You're still in a jittery mood so he doesn't really hold that biting comment you fire at him against you but just a tiny part of his ego does suffer a crack or two. He isn't quite used yet to be despised so openly by a woman in his life as no matter how much he denies it, you know that constant worship has inflated his ego one way or another. So to hear you so bluntly state that you wouldn't want him to be a father to your future children has him just a little bit miffed but he never tells you that. At least not right now when you are still so shaken up. He may just try to subtly bring this topic up at a later point though.
