I just saw someone say "yeah bisexuality means youre only attracted to men and women" im going to scream

bisexual means you're attracted to both sexes 

which there are 2 of 

bisexuals are attracted to all genders since everyone is biologically either male, female, or somewhere between in the case of intersex

also like even if you wanna argue that "oh but what about homosexual? wouldnt that apply theyre attracted to the same sex? wouldnt that exclude trans people?" the point of transitioning is to develop the fucking secondary sex characteristics of the opposite sex

it is perfectly within fucking reason for a homosexual man to be attracted to a trans man because we fucking transition to have at least the secondary sex characteristics of men

even if you don't personally date a trans person upon finding out theyre trans

you still have that capacity for attraction

Stop fucking limiting bisexuality for fucks sake half of the bitches who say this shit arent even goddamn bisexual and just want to use this woke ass new label that they can ONLY JUSTIFY BY MAKING BISEXUALITY OUT TO BE MORE LIMITED THAN IT ACTUALLY IS.

There is more than ONE way to be bisexual

Bisexuals can have gender preferences they can have no preferences

maybe they personally are only interested in dating cisgender men and women

maybe they're not interested in certain "genders" because straight up they don't think they're real. that doesnt matter. all that matters is being interested in both sexes that makes you fucking bi no ifs ands or goddamn buts

if I hear another fucking person define MY fucking orientation FOR ME im going to fucking KILL SOMEONE

and yet when I speak up about being viscerally fucking uncomfortable with labels with biphobic (and in the case of pan, transphobic) roots I'm the fuckin bad guy cuz im not inclusive and woke enough

the only reason bisexuality is considered "exclusive" is because you fucks redefined it with the transphobic and biphobic notion that bisexuality excludes trans people, or that all bisexuals have a gender preference, or that we only like 2 genders, or what the fuck ever

And, I saw some pretty nasty shit for pan people such as me.

So, I repeat:

I'm so sorry everyone. I followed @/eat-moar-veggis for a while thinking that he was just a blog that spread awareness to things. I scrolled through his blog to find that he is truscum (or at least supports and is mutual with people who are truscum) and that he supports pan and/or bi erasure. He had recently found my blog and liked a few of my posts so I checked out his blog. Don't interact, ban and report.

The Problem with Secrets

Had a discussion about the Echo Caves in the episode “Ariel,” the ones you can only get out of if someone is willing to reveal a secret they would never want to admit to anyone. It seemed a little strange that Hook claimed to have lost half his crew in those caves but, obviously, had lived himself to tell the tale.  That is he either had to be part of a group that made it out or spoke to someone who made it out. 

So, did it take them a lot of trial and error to figure out how to escape (during which half his crew died) or were people really that unwilling to spill their guts even when their lives were at stake?

I realized there was a third option: Hook and some of his crew get trapped in the caves. Hook has to spill his deep, dark secret.

Hook gets out of the cave. Hook decides he doesn’t like members of his crew knowing his deep, dark secret--and definitely doesn’t want them telling the rest of the crew when they get back to the ship.

Hook reduces the number of his crew.

Pan thinks this is hilarious and manages to get Hook trapped their multiple times. Hook loses half his crew before Pan gets bored/makes whatever deal he had with Hook that let him leave on occasional supply and recruitment runs.

Or maybe he didn’t get bored, and Hook had to keep recruiting.

(Sorry for the long post!) I just wanted to say thank you. I recently came out after never considering myself LGBT or knowing about these topics in depth, and I identified as pan, as I had only heard of bi meaning attracted to men and women. I’ve been doing a lot of searching and came across your posts. Through them I learned that definition of bisexual is wrong and bi is already inclusive of trans. You have a way with explaining in simple no-nonsense terms how m-spec (a word that’s completely new to me!) and pan harms bi people and contributes to the stigma which I myself started with. It takes a lot of guts to post things like this in a place like Tumblr. I guess I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that you’ve educated another person who greatly appreciates it. I have a long way to go to understand myself and the discourse more greatly but I’m glad through people like yourself I can read both sides of the argument, not just whatever is most-tumblr-like. I feel much more educated as a bi person now.
