Random idea that I just thought would be neat but has no bearing on anything whatsoever because it’ll never happen:

What if, for funsies, Puppetmaster reached through the seams of the universe, not big enough to fit themself in, but enough to reach out and thread something together. They look at where they last saw Puppet, but they can’t find them in that dimension since they’re gone now. They try to find Puppet’s strongest connections to see if something will lead them to them, but the only thing they really find that particularly catches their eye is a specific hard drive, discarded in a waste bin, reeking of danger and potential.

Puppetmaster then strings together this hard drive and a matching body they found within the storage units of Parts and Service, the same way one would make a puppet. And suddenly, Monty is walking into his office one day only to stumble across someone he hoped to never see again: old Foxy.

Something I noticed as a pattern, at least over on tsams, is that whenever there is a villain, that villain has to be smart and a super genius. It’s honestly exhausting /lh. I thought: You know what would be fun? If a villain, for once, was smarter than the heroes, but not in the academic sense. Smart as in they’re always “two steps ahead” and able to predict what the heroes will do, what to do to prevent them from succeeding, and always remaining just out of reach (and sticking out his tongue and making an L on his forehead while doing it. and he’s pointing and laughing at them and calling them idiots right before he trips and pretends he meant to do that)

Old Foxy, in this sense, is the perfect fit for that. He’s in no way a genius. He knows nothing about computers or data or whatever, as is seen to be the most prevalent form of intelligence on the security breach show. But Foxy knows people. He can read them, and he knows exactly what buttons to press in order to get what he wants or to get under their skin (though, sometimes he can push his luck, which.. last time he did that, he died lmao).

Idk, I can just see Old Foxy being a fun villain. He’s charismatic and charming, but you know who he is and he doesn’t try to hide it — he just makes you forget about it by distracting you with his japes and jeers. When some annoying old fox man is making clever quips and playfully bullying you, you forget he’s the same man who attempted to gouge out a classmate’s eye in high school, sawed off the legs of a crewmate to sell for parts and laughed in their face when confronted, and stabbed through some guy’s heart without a second thought in order to retrieve information he needed for a client.

Given Foxy’s track record for being hit by one billion trucks and still managing to walk away, it could be fun watching this guy drag himself to Eclipse and Puppet’s dimension to mess with them. He doesn’t know who brought him back, or why he’s suddenly gotten the drive to make Puppet suffer however he saw fit despite not knowing them personally, but he doesn’t care. What he’s doing aligns with what he usually enjoys by being a pirate. And if he’s constantly smashed to bits over and over again only to be stitched together once more and get back to it, so be it.

Eclipse can try to redirect him by asking Foxy questions he himself was constantly bothered by when in the same position: “Don’t you want to know why you’ve been brought back? Who is doing this? Why you? Isn’t it odd why you feel the need to bother us specifically when you’ve never even met us before?” And Foxy will just shrug and say “lmao nah.”

Foxy isn’t trying to play up an act. He’s just being himself. He’s not trying to be edgy or vindictive and he harbors no resentment towards Eclipse or Puppet (only person who really seems to rub him the wrong way is our Foxy). He’s just doing what he’s always done and dabbling in the art of pillaging, plundering, and pirating. He knows what he wants. And right now he wants to set up bombs beneath the glamrock performance stage to blow the pizzaplex sky high and see Puppet’s face when the smoke comes pouring in.
