Apple chips that have been baked with cinnamon are a tasty and healthy snack that will satisfy your sweet tooth while still being keto-friendly. Cinnamon is used in small amounts to give these crunchy apple chips a warm and comforting taste. They're simple to make at home and a great way to enjoy apple sweetness without any extra sugar.
Ingredients: 2 large apples, preferably firm and tart such as Granny Smith. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp granulated sweetener optional, if desired.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 200F 95C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Cut the apples into thin, crosswise slices that are about 1/8-inch thick using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer. Take out and throw away any seeds. If you are using granulated sugar, mix it with the ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Place the apple slices on the baking sheet that has been prepared so that they don't touch. Spread the cinnamon mixture out over the apple slices in a thin layer. Place the apple slices in an oven that has already been heated. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they are crispy and golden brown. Flip them over halfway through the baking time to make sure they cook evenly. Grab the baking sheet with the apple chips when they're done and let them cool all the way down. As they cool, they will keep getting crisper. After the apple chips have cooled, put them in a container that won't let air in. Enjoy as a crunchy snack that will fill you up!
