sometimes i feel like tricking my brain into thinking "oh yeah, maybe i like them, they're pretty !" but that lasts an hour? and what comes next is me feeling bad because !! why can't i like someone? just one person? what's wrong with me?

but then i try to remember there's nothing wrong with me. that it's okay, i'm okay. i don't need to feel bad about the way i am.

and so the cycle continues, but it is becoming less and less frequent, so i hope that the time will come when i do not feel bad about my orientation. because don't get me wrong, i'm proud of who i am but— that doesn't stop me from having bad days and bad thoughts.
