Arcadian Spring - Minori & Ash

Minori couldn’t help herself. Now that the darkness had finally gone away, the spring sunshine was starting to pop up more and more each day, and it was impossible for her to simply hang out at home all the time. Luckily for her, she had Layla, who always made for a good excuse to wander around. The dog needed to get more exercise, right? Just chasing the sheep and cows around totally didn’t count.

Besides, she still had plenty of energy left after her chores were done, and so did her golden retriever. 

As she strolled through the park, she was pleased to see it mostly empty, so she let Layla off her leash and wandered around, checking out all of the flowers that were already starting to perk up. It was hard not to feel cheerful on such a lovely day, and Minori was all smiles as she lazily followed behind her dog.

That is, until Layla gave an excited woof. Before Minori had time to even react, the retriever had launched herself at an unsuspecting blonde, practically knocking him down as she tried to get his attention. Minori gave a panicked gasp as she tore after the dog, hoping that Layla didn’t scare the pants off the poor guy.

“I’m so so SO sorry! I’ll put her back on the leash immediately, I swear!!”

✒ From My Island to Yours {Chelsea/Ash}

Chelsea hasn’t written a letter in a while, and with the Junk Shop now up and running, she felt motivated to give her friend from the next island a little update about her life. Didn’t he talk about moving last time? 

 ⌜ Dear Ash,

     The sky is dark as I write this letter and if the forecast is write, a thunderstorm will be here from night time. It’s not raining yet so when I do go out to send this, I hope it doesn’t pour too heavily. 

     Anyways, how are you? Do yo miss your sister already? Living solo must be lonesome, do you have a roommate? 

     I haven’t had much luck finding a better place to live at here in Leuda. Apart from rats that keep running around the entire apartment building, I’m greeted with silence every time I come home.

     But that’s okay! I mostly stay at the Junk Shop that I recently took full ownership of. Your pal is now the proud boss of Leuda’s Junk Shop~ I like to call it “Dis n’ Dat’. Complete with a sign and all! If you ever find your self in Leuda, promise you’ll check it out?

     I won’t keep this long, but I hope to hear from you soon. The skies might be gray, but I hope you are doing well.

Georgia feels bad that the animal shop is out of commission and her employees won’t be getting paid for half of the month because of it, so she’s just gonna give them their pay anyway! (plus extra because she feels REALLY guilty over the destruction of the shop)

BttP: Musical Brothers {Dirk/Ash}

     The small band Dirk originally formed with his best bro was starting to grow: at least now it wasn’t just the two of them. They actually had a bassist now that they were in high school! A drummer and a guitarist could only go so far, but with an added member of a vocalist and a bassist, things were starting to shape up. 

     Dirk was practicing on the guitar during lunch break when he spots one of the new members pass by, the hat giving him away. Three our of four of their members all liked hats, now that he thought about it... “Yo! Ash! Over here!” He called him over, an arm being waved frantically. He hasn’t eaten lunch yet, but he did have a packed lunch ready. Maybe he wanted to eat somewhere more scenic too?

A new face

Since Frey lived in places where roommates were bound to come and go, she wasn’t too surprised to find herself suddenly having a new one just as soon as her previous one left. This was particularly lucky for her since it meant lower rent, and that was the very reason she chose an occupied inn room in the first place. 

She made sure to at least be hospitable to the new tenant, not wanting to scare him into finding a different room. Frey was tidy and did not have much personal belongings apart from books and a few trinkets, so she figured she’d be fine with just simply cleaning before he arrived to officially move in.

When she does hear someone come in, she was occupied fixing up the curtains of the windows. Thankfully it wasn’t too gaudy. "Hey there, you must be Ash. Welcome to E05~”

Frey was quick to approach him and offer a hand out, a friendly smile on her face, “I go by Frey, and I look forward to sharing this living space with you. Do you need help unpacking?”
