Hey there! This is the lime candle from my Lughnasadh/Lammas. I had lots of halved lime skins leftover from making limeade so I made some lime candles and some sconces out of twigs. They're so cute! I put this one on my altar. 😁

I'm in a less than witch friendly household for the long term and I'd be found out and booted if I had any tools/herbs to practice with, but I'm really sick of not being able to practice in my own home. I'd really appreciate some advice from my fellow witches.

Ps: I'm a moon witch, I feel connected to autumn, I don't worship any deities besides the moon at the moment, and I know some tarot but not a lot I'm still studying. I don't practice wicca, it makes me uncomfortable because of how heteronormative it is.

Pps: the reason I put so many tags is because I want advice from all witches. I don't practice many of the things in the tags

Free Tarot Readings

So, as I said yesterday, I just bought a couple of new tarot decks. To help me bond with them, I’m offering free readings, kinda as practice for me. If you’d like a reading, please send in an ask with a question and if you’d like a one card draw or a basic three card spread.

The only things I ask is that the questions not be too specific (think of it more as asking for advice) and that you remember I’m still a beginner so don’t base too much on these readings.

So, as an Atheist witch who lives in a predominantly Catholic home I have not been able to do much...

But now that I'm heading of to a Graduate college four hours away from home I can FINALLY start practicing my craft! I'm really excited and have started gathering things for my alter and hiding them in the back of my closet so they'll be ready to go when I leave. I don't expect it to be big and grand since I'll be in a tiny dorm with a roommate (hopefully rooming with @prettypiguniverse ) but it'll be something to get me started. I've done a lot of research about this but I'm still fairly new to the whole "witchcraft" thing so if any of you guys have any tips or adive on how to practice on a budget please, please, please don't be afraid to tell me! ❤🍄🌵🌜🌞⭐

Witches with kids!

I'm new to witchcraft, and I have a 9mo son. My husband is Christian (Mormon), I'm an Athiest. I don't want to raise my son to think he HAS to believe anything specific, but would it be ok to teach him some witchy stuff growing up? How do you include your children in your craft; or do you leave them out of it altogether? I'm trying to decide if I want to teach him or keep him neutral until he can decide what he wants to learn.

I’ve infiltrated visited other church services before. This one was for cub scouts. The sermon wasn’t too bad actually. Talked about how being a good person isnt only following a set of rules. It’s about following the intention behind the rules.
