80% of people with Borderline Personality Disorder diagnosis try to commit suicide and the actual death rate is 50 times the rate of any other disorder. I may look normal and smile I may look fit for work but the reality is I'm in a percentage of 2 percent of adults that have BPD. I shouldn’t be left living alone really but the mental health services are so stretched it’s unreal they just can’t offer me what I need where I live. I am considered a high risk of harm to myself officially. If you know someone, a friend, a stranger or family who struggles with mental health please do your best to support them! And for the love of God save THE NHS like they saved me!

Community Festival Against Austerity. It will be mint. Great entertainment. Great people. Lots to learn. Just one of quite a lot of local events I wish I could attend tomorrow. If only DID came with multiple bodies instead of just multiple alters. Then we could go to everything. I'll be there. Come and say hello. Unless it's already happened. Or you don't live near Newcastle. For a while I'll be part of the Living Library, talking mental health as part of Chilli Studios and the Heads and Tales heritage project. We don't promise to have ALL the answers. But between us the Chilli people know quite a lot. For a start, we know that two things that have contributed to fucking up the mental health of people are austerity policies and the punitive benefits system. We see the effects every single day.
