I've done a lot of stupid stuff on this blog but one of my biggest regrets is that one time I said something like "neurodivergence and nonwhiteness are not mutually exclusive and ignoring characters of color to focus on white mentally ill characters because obviously each character can only have one minority trait so we gotta choose, is not a good thing" and I got some racist messages calling me ableist except they forgot to hit anon on one of them so I published it and then they were like "I meant to be anon can you delete that :(" and I actually listened

I still published the messages they sent if you wanna see what they said and I still remember what the url was because when I went on the blog I saw them angrily vaguing me lol

this is just something that has been bothering me a lot for a while now especially because had they not slipped up like that I would've never known since they followed me and acted like a good little ally and if racists are gonna expose themselves I'm not gonna protect them.

so yeah this is old but they haven't faced any consequences and still hang out in these communities pretending to be nice so I feel like this is information people deserve to have if this person follows them

35. Bathtub Fic and 60. Poorly Timed Confession

So, having a relaxing bath together at the end of a long day shouldn’t be a bad time for a love confession and you can see why Zev chooses that moment, rather than when they’re in the middle of fighting Darkspawn or trying to plot an infiltration of the Arl of Denerim’s estate or shakily collapsing after killing Zevran’s ex or even fucking up a chimney.

This should be a great moment to tell Vari he accidentally Feelings and it’s terrifying, but the thought of being without her is worse. She’s been quiet for a moment, pausing in scrubbing herself to just submerge herself in the water after Morrigan and Alistair had stomped past their room arguing, so when she pulls herself up again and blinks water out of her eyes Zev clears his throat and gently touches her arm and tells her he loves her, and that Sound and Touch are what finally send her into the sensory overload that’s been building up for the past several minutes.

And then Vari has this amazing discovery that zev loves her too but she’s kind of preoccupied with all the sensory input going on now and it would be nice if her hands would stop flapping by themselves and stop touching me zev fuck wait it’s not that i don’t like you or i’m upset i love you too but also just don’t say anything or also move for a few minutes and if you know a way to make bath water suddenly not exist for a bit that would be great too.
