#bad joints

God. Fuck. Kill me. I need actually knee braces that will actually support me. I need my knees to stop hyperextending. I need support for the instability. I need something that will actually support my weight so I don't have to constantly offload it onto everything else around me. But I can't afford anything, I can't afford even the Walmart braces, let alone the good braces I know I need. Fuck being disabled. I hate my joint instability. I hate having a connective tissue disorder. I hate being broke as fuck. I need moneyyyy.

Connective tissue disorders aren't very fun, one time i was going from standing to lying down on the couch and my knee made this godawful cracking sound (similar to the sound you make when you crack your knuckles) and it felt like a tendon was like stuck or something and my knee didn't feel right for like a week and a half after, it would also make these sounds that were awful and i'm so glad my knee is better now

Anybody else ever like, whenever one of their joints crack loudly they'll call out which joint it was?

My shoulders and elbows crack a lot when I move so when it happens I'll just be like "oop that's my elbow" in the most casual way and I just wonder if anybody else does it

Sometimes I think I'm over reacting to the amount of pain I have. It's every day, and I feel it and notice it, it makes me not want to move, but it can't be that bad! I just need to toughen up a bit!

Then I remember that time where I sprained my ankle and the pain felt like a tiny pinch compared to my other ankle. I could only really tell that it was actually injured because it kept hurting the next day and kept hurting for a week.

Everyone around me then let me sit the second I told them but it barely even bothered me. If people without this pain think of a sprain as that bad then I don't think it's all in my head.

It’s like being moved between the freezer and the microwave and being forced to freeze and thaw over and over again

I’m not the bacon in the bottom of your basement freezer and I shouldn’t be treated as such
