Ayy, could you do a headcanon (or fic whatever works) for batsis being an odd one out and the batfam discovering she’s the youngest squad leader of an Argus agent group and all of them are goofballs and don’t take shit seriously but always get the job done .
A/N: I did this as a headcannon. So about half way through this, a friend informed me A.R.G.U.S is also in Arrowverse. I don’t watch t.v., so I wrote this for the comic verse that comes in during the new 52 era. Hope it is still okay.
- Batsis had been gone a lot in the last few years. Just saying she was working for the government. At Alfred’s request to give her privacy, they didn’t dig deeper.
- Really they were just happy another family member wasn’t putting their lives on the line every day. If only they knew.
- Well they found out eventually, since A.R.G.U.S works on getting intel for the Justice League.
- Normally Batsis would give the information they got to Amanda Waller or Steve Tyler. She tried to avoid seeing the member because that would let the cat out of the bag.
- Well one day that didn’t work. Both were busy and they had to get the information to them before the group could go back for a much needed rest.
- So there she was, with her group screwing around behind her when the Trinty of the League walked in.
- She could see the surprise on her father’s face, though he wore it well.
- After introducing herself as the group’s leader, she handed the information. Then turned her back before any of the three could say anything.
- Turning to her group, she let out a whistle and pointed to the door as indication that they could head home.
- That night she turned off her phone that night knowing it would be blowing up.
- After a group dinner, she headed to bed with plans to sleep the whole weekend. Unfortunately she walked into her room to be greeted by the whole family sans Alfred.
- The questions flung everywhere. Why did she want to do A.R.G.U.S, why not help the batfamily.
- At this point she mentioned she was the youngest leader ever which was greet with lots of congrats.
- Jason asked if the group was really as nuts as he head.
- She just replied that they got the job done in the end. Besides they didn’t need to take everything serious. Mentioned she had lots of practice dealing with the craziness thanks to her family.
- Batman gave a single chuckle at that.
- Stephanie wanted to know if she ever worked with Taskforce X (Suicide Squad). She replied that they have done a few team ups.
- Those one’s usually tested her patience of a leader since the two groups combined were anything but organized.
- Damian was surprised that no one knew in the family.
- She pointed out Barbara probably knew since Oracle does work occasionally for Amanda Waller.
- Poor Barbara was going to get so many bats bugging her that night.
- After that, Bruce made a point to keep an eye out for that group.
- He had to agree their methods were different. Their comns were non-stop jokes and jabs at each other. Yet they did a great job in completing the mission without any deaths.
- He admired how well she did as a leader. Always managing to reign the chaos in.
