3 years. Billy spent 3 years wandering Fawcett. 3 years only hunting what he needed. Being a vampire wasn't too bad especially after Whiz took a liking to him. He knew why, they didn't have to pay him in real money after all, Mr. Morris would pay him in blood and Billy would go get the stories he wanted. whether that be going after a killer, vampire groups, hunters, or anything else. Mr.Morris knew Billy would get the story and fix the problem. Was he being used as an attack dog? Yes. Did he care? No.
Mary Bromfield had run away. Mary Bromfield had found her brother or well, he found her. Mary Bromfield had cried into him when she found him not because he was a vampire but because the night he found her she almost became vampire food. Mary was trembling when her brother helped her up. Mary screamed when her brother was shot and promptly passed out as her brother flung into the air holding her.
When she awoke her brother was standing next to the couch she was sleeping on the TV going in front of her with a picture of her face. Her brother was arguing with someone. Mary passed out again.
Billy was stressed. He had to get out of Fawcett with Mary now. They weren't welcomed here anymore. Not after news broke that he “kidnapped” the daughter of the Bromfields. Mr.Morris told him to leave the city or return the girl. Billy refused to lose his sister again even if it meant losing everything he's built. Billy packed 2 bags and told his friends what to do. They could keep Fawcett standing how it is till this dies down. For now they were going to run to where everyone who doesn't want to be found runs to. They ran to Gotham.
