A hearty and flavorful chili recipe without beans, made with a combination of ground beef and pork simmered in a rich tomato-based broth with aromatic spices.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 lb ground pork. 1 onion, diced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. 1 can 6 oz tomato paste. 2 cups beef broth. 2 tbsp chili powder. 1 tbsp cumin. 1 tsp paprika. 1 tsp oregano. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper optional. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a skillet, brown ground beef, ground pork, onion, and garlic until meat is no longer pink. Transfer meat mixture to a slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper if using to the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Serve hot and garnish with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
