Splatfest things people need to hear:

• Please. I am BEGGING you. Put. That. Damn. Aerospray RG down and stop being so damn annoying because playing that way takes the fun out of the game. (The sprinting up to opposite spawn and spamming Booyah Bomb and instead of in a combat situation actually fighting and possibly helping your team more, just running away to spam Booyah Bomb. After. Booyah. Bomb.)

• Roller players that are acting similar to the Aerospray RG’s as described above, please also stop. It’s so annoying and takes the fun out of the game.

• Yeah, if your team loses it’s sad and yeah the Splatfests are kinda rigged depending on how many people are on your team. But you don’t need to be incredibly hateful towards the winning team. I get it, I’m mad that Fyre has won basically no Splatfests and they haven’t let her snap like Marina did in Splatoon 2 after a losing streak of three, but please. You don’t have to make it the end of the world and blame everyone on the winning team for “ruining your life”. Also don’t send death threats. Why.

• Whether you win or lose you did your best. You tried and fought for your team. You aren’t a failure just because you were a few points away from winning.

• YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE MAD, SAD, DISAPPOINTED ETC BY THE SPLATFEST RESULTS. YOU JUST HAVE TO NOT TAKE IT OUT ON OTHER PEOPLE. (yes I brought up this point a second time, people need to hear it)

• You don’t have to feel guilty about “betraying” your favorite idol by joining another’s team.

• Just have fun, it’s a festival after all!

• It’s okay to take breaks and play different games or go to Salmon Run or Side Order, you aren’t stuck doing only Splatfest stuff!

•That said, REMEMBER TO EAT FOOD AND DRINK WATER. I HAVE MADE THE MISTAKE OF PLAYING A SPLATFEST ALL DAY AND FORGETTING TO EAT AND DRINK. DO NOT DO THAT.
