I was just laying in bed, procrastinating sleep, and the thought of the effects of Christopher growing up thinking that having Buck in his life is the most normal thing come to my mind.

Like, imagine Chirs calling him "my Buck", like he would say "my dad" or "my tia", when he talks to his friends at school and everyone being confused at the beginning but then accepting it as the most normal thing.

Or him meeting another child of divorce/child with a single parent, and just assuming he also has a Buck-like figure only to discover that no, none of their parents friends hang out at their house and cook for them and take them on trips and have a weird platonic-romantic relationship with their parents.

I need a fic about this. After having a whole existential crisis about his relationship with Buck and who he is in his life, Chris goes to talk to Eddie about it, and that's the catalysts for Eddie realising that "hey, maybe my relationship with Buck is not the most normal thing either" and "hey maybe I do have a weird platonic relationship with him, and maybe it's not as platonic as I thought". And they eventually get together and Buck adopts Chris officially. And it ends like it starts, with Chris talking to his friends at school but saying "my dads" instead.
