Aspec Glossary: Bellus
What is the Aspec Glossary?
Bellus- is a microlabel prefix that indicates that the person in question does not experience that type of attraction or want the type relationship associated with that attraction, but does enjoy certain activities typically associated with that attraction. Someone who is bellus may enjoy the aesthetics or certain actions/aspects associated with that type of relationship. "Bellus" is Latin for "pretty."
Bellusromantics typically do not experience romantic attraction, and are uninterested in having a romantic relationship, but desire certain things that are usually considered romantic in a non-romantic context, such as kissing, going on dates, holding hands, cuddling, etc.
Bellussexuals typically do not experience sexual attraction, and are uninterested in having a sexual relationship, but desire certain things that are usually considered sexual in a non-sexual context.
Bellusroses or bellus aroaces are both bellusromantic and bellussexual.
Bellusplatonics typically do not experience platonic attraction, and are uninterested in having a friendship, but desire certain things that are usually considered platonic in a non-platonic context.
Someone can also be bellusfamilial, bellussensual, etc.
