The art of perception as magical bewitching

Perception is a powerful faculty of consciousness & magic. To transform perception is to transform the world.

Integration & shadow work leads to changed perception & insight into life & reality. Looking out onto the world, the state of being of the perceiver, greatly influences, shades & colours what is seen. Shadow work is removing the veils & covers that cloud our perception. As we perceive what is in front of us more directly & with more openness & attunement, the mystery & beauty of the what appears, is revealed to us.

There is a bit of trick involved in that we have to say yes & desire & choose to see & engage the world in a way that is real, beautified & immediate. Layer upon layer of mystery & meaning is revealed to us if we choose to look at life with the eyes of beauty & mystery- the Heart.

This is to be the tantric/tantrika. To tune in to the senses.

The senses are the organs of perception & the sensory body can become finely tuned in to the vibrational undercurrents that flow beneath the surface & mundane appearances of things.

This is to step into the archetypes of enchantress, sorceress etc.

Bewitching is as simple as altering perception to tune in to the finer details of reality- to see with the inner senses, to be alert to the energetic qualities of situations, things & people.
