I love the Tav’s Tent mod, with the sweet desk set-up!

Don’t mind Selena’s sad countenance. She’ll be all right after a good night’s trance - she has just finished explaining to sweet Arabella that her parents are dead and, of course, the grief-stricken tiefling is having a difficult processing such sudden & difficult news. Selena has a tremendous amount of empathy for young children & animals, so being yelled at by a heartbroken Arabella brought her spirits down quite a bit. A little writing in her journal will help her clear her thoughts before resting by the campfire.

I remember starting Baldur’s Gate 3 and deciding for my first playthrough to recreate my favourite D&D character to play in-game. Specifically, my Charisma-stacked Tiefling Charlatan Rogue who learned to play into their own stereotypes and charm people to survive and now is dishonest and sarcastic on reflex to prevent themselves from being hurt. ‘This will be fun’ I thought. ‘I can roleplay being nosy and slowly opening up to my companions. I’ll probably romance Shadowheart. This is great’.

And then Astarion happened.

Yeah so that playthrough evolved into two emotionally repressed morally grey dumbasses trying to manipulate each other and falling over ass backwards into improving each other as people on accident and it was fantastic 10/10 no notes best roleplaying game experience of my life.
