Big book tag 📚
List the 5 biggest books you’ve read & the 5 biggest books you want to read.
Thanks for the tag @therefugeofbooks sorry it took a bit, been busy this month but I’m excited!
I actually have an excel list of my whole library of owned books with their page counts. All different kinds of editions so I’ll include that too. Sad to say though, my already read books are mostly the same author. I didn’t really read a lot of longer novels until reading some fantasy...
Read:
1. The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson (Each book is over 1000 pages and I don’t want Sanderson to be all I have on here so I’m skipping the rest of his books, Warbreaker, Elantris, ect. but here’s how long each book is in his longest series)
The Way of Kings: Kindle, 1007 pg.
Words of Radiance: Kindle 1087 pg.
Oathbringer: Hardcover, 1243 pg.
2. The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch: Mass Market, 722 pg.
3. The Truth Circle by Cameron Ayers: Kindle, 567
4. Sayville Tales by Lawrence Jay Switzer: BookSirens/Kindle, 545
5. The Haunting of Lannister Hall by Amy Cross: Kindle, 499
To Be Read: Page counts are according to corresponding edition on Amazon
1. Jerusalem by Alan Moore: Paperback, 1280 pg.
2. The Catholic School by Edoardo Albinati: Kindle, 1256 pg.
3. Swan Song by Robert R. McCammon: Kindle, 929 pg.
4. Deep River by Karl Marlantes: Hardcover 725 pg.
5. House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski: Trade Paperback, 705 pg.
Yeah, so I don’t read too many long books, I like quick and too the point generally. Sorry. But hey @dropdeadfemme wanna take a shot? And any one else interested of course!
Happy Thursday! 🦉 What’s a popular book that you STILL haven’t read yet?? . . . Do you, like me, have a HUGE list of popular books that you still haven’t read?? 🙈 I’ve had *The Priory of the Orange Tree* by Samantha Shannon on my TBR for longest, and I still haven’t finished it. I read a few chapters a while ago, but will definitely have to start it over when I go to read it again. I am excited though! I love the dragon on the cover. 🥰 What’s a popular book, (or books), that you haven’t read yet?? . . . 📚 Dragons. #AlltheBooksSept19 📚Doing SOmeone Else’s Bidding. #BookQueensSEpt19 📚 Pirates or Sirens. #BookRavensSept19 📚 Game Over. #FearYourNovelSours . . . #prioryoftheorangetree #bigbook #amreading #book #booklove #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagramfeature #bookaesthetic #currentlyreading #flatlay #yabooks https://www.instagram.com/p/B2TwtE_HRRh/?igshid=1bxcppt0eubr5
Alcohol Big Book
"Perhaps the most painful feeling of all was the desperation. Isolation and denial of our addiction kept us moving along this downhill path. Any hope of getting better disappeared. Helplesness, emptiness and fear became our way of life. We were complete failures. Personality change was what we really needed. Change from self destructive patterns of life became necessary."
Ahhh! I’ve been waiting for this book and now she’s in my hands. Welcome to the shelf! Lol I’m gunna wrap up the two I’m reading now and dive right into this bad boy!!! You shall receive my full attention 😇 . . .
