I read a post of an anon saying that she feels more comfortable being around aroace women than bi women bc they don't like men and so they feel like they understand them better as a lesbian.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna stop you from hanging out with who you wanna.

But there is this underlying vibe, that makes me think ppl believe women attracted to men have something wrong with them that women not attracted to men, automatically don't have or can get rid off.

Being bi or het, doesn't make us stupid lmao. It doesn't also mean we are obsessed with men.

And don't get me wrong, I am well aware that women can be male centered (I'm beginning to really fucking hate that word). But male centeredness doesn't come innately to women attracted to men. Being attracted to men and centering them are completly two different things.

Centering men, comes from the patriarchy (and capitalism tbh). Somthing all women deal with.

And maybe, women who aren't attracted to men, do find it easier or are faster at decentering men. But that does not mean it is the same for everyone. As it is clear there are lesbians and gay men out there, who also center men (oh and het men lmao).

Centering men, isn't based on one's sexuality. You cannot judge someone based on their fucking sexuality and instead should do so bc of their character.

So stop giving bi and het women dirty faces when they reply to your question about their sexuality. Like they are friends with Hitler or smth.

You are not any less homophobic. Stop judging a whole sexuality or minority, based on some made up bullshit your brain or the internet conjured up.

And don't go telling me, this is all online and all it does is hurt feelings, not oppress.

Do you read the news? Do you read history? Do you open your eyes?
