biphobia AND trans(andro)phobia too!
Digging through other social media apps has made me learn a lot of lesbians who are against contradictory labels (specially ones including lesbians) are INSANELY biphobic.
But like not even JUST towards subtliden-using bisexuals, I’m talking ALL bisexuals!
I’m talking; about 75% of these girls act like they would be physically SICK if they had to be near a bisexual.
It actually makes so much more sense to me though, like OF COURSE they don’t believe in m-spec lesbians because they HATE being around bi people in general! /very VERY negative
(BIG BIG HUGE HUGE disclosure I’m specifically talking about lesbians who are BIGGOTS, of course this just a loud minority and not at all the wider lesbian community.)
Damn why the fuck are ppl being being so fucking biphobic to maya hawk? For those who don’t know, she recently married her fiance Christian and people have been so fucking disrespectful about it. Saying things like “wdym she married a MAN.” Like she’s bisexual.. why wouldn’t she marry a man. I feel like biphobia is so normalised within the lgbtq community and it needs to change. I am bisexual and have been in relationships with men and women because, surprise! THATS WHAT BEING BISEXUAL IS!!! Like what? I’ve also noticed that biphobia is something that is almost always directed towards women. Like you will never catch someone being biphobic to a man buf as soon as a bisexual woman gets in a relationship with a man it’s all “oh I love bisexual women and their BOYFRIENDS.” I 100% agree that there are some straight girls out there who just kiss their friends when they’re drunk and then call themselves bisexual but the majority of people who are bisexual aren’t like that. Like I may settle down with a women or I may settle down with a man, but the biggest question I have is, why is it anyone’s business who she’s in a relationship with?
the amount of tumblr users who think that wlw or "liking women" is lesbian-only is really something
