I'm really interest with your Dark!Uryuu AU. It's make me think that Kubo didn't give Uryuu some real consequence for having share same schirft with Yhwach or for Antithesis itself. It seems Kubo intend to make Uryuu as ''controlled'' final villain for ichigo by giving him same schrift with Yhwach. Since Yhwach said that uryuu has something that can make surpass himself, it will interesting that the reason why Yhwach giving uryuu same schirft with him because he wanted to corrupt him

OOoh boiii, this is something I am still holding onto despite being ocean’s deep into the MCU fandom, which nis a trashcan on fire, but I looove it, lots of fanworks for my favorite guys! Yay!--------------------------------------------------

But I am deviating from the main question. First, Kubo mdidn’t gave shit to Uryuu in his arc, ttruest of truths, period. I dunno what plans Kubo have for Uryuu or if he has any for him, because hell, there were hints! like Rukia telling Renji in the Soul King dimention that she “did not like to rise her sword against a friend”. So there, I can speculate a lot about this, like he getting bored, got all fed up and sick of it all or whatever reasons, fact is that as he did with so many plot points, he drop it off like a hot potato. And we Ishida fans ended with nothing. Which was utterly dissappointing, screw ships and the like, Uryuu Ishida who got to share the same Schrift with Ywach, got called sucessor and the man who could surpass him... did nothing with it in the end because his author says it so and honestly it was a downer because as I see it, I share with you the theory that Ywach wanted to corrupt Uryuu, that this little gemischt who was supposed to die, did not because he had something YW didn't have and to get it, he has to share his blood and his letter with him. And yeah, because of that his final showdown with Ichigo was destined.

In my headcanons I add a twist. That the final fight will be a battle in two fronts, with Ichigo vs Uryuu with the first fighting to free the later and inside Uryuu’s mind/sould, it will be Uryuu vs YW, to free himself. My ending has a lot of power of friendship and family, because shonen (like the title “six hearts beat as one”) and so Uryuu is able to do so through the combined efforts of Ichigo and all their friends. They win and no more YW. The end!
