Relationship Headcanons for Sasori:

First of all, he’s super protective. Not necessarily clingy or jealous, but Sasori is not so lax or aloof to let people treat you however you like. To him, you are royalty, and he will make sure the other members treat you as such.

With that being said, while he feels that way internally, he’s not so good at showing those things externally. Part of the reason he created his eternal body was to limit the things he felt; emotions made one weak. He needs an S/O that doesn’t rely on sweet nothings or physicality as a love language. because he doesn’t know how to give someone that.

On a similar note, Sasori doesn’t know how to say “I love you.” It’s almost like in a cartoon, where the character can say anything but. He tries to say it through his actions: bringing his S/O something to eat, tucking them in after they’ve fallen asleep; little things.

He loves watching his S/O sleep. It’s not that he can’t - he can doze - but he never feels the physical need for eight hours anymore. Watching them sleep is super calming to him, and with a partner like Deidara, he needs calm.
