I still believe that Ondolemar was intended to be a follower or something, He's considerably a unique npc; Why would devs give him a unique mouth, make him be friendly to the player, and not make him a follower. We were already robbed of good Argonian and Khajiit followers (sorry derkeethus and kharjo). I don't see why Ondolemar wasn't supposed to be a follower in the first place especially since he's a considerably minor character.

Obviously being a unique character doesn't mean they're meant to be a follower cause look at Ulfric, but to do all that for an npc that has one minor stealing quest and one possible distraction seems a bit sussy.

My favorite thing about the various mods that'll give you grey warden equipment and armor in Origins is that Loghain and Howe have all these convoluted plots trying to find and kill you and there you are, strutting around every street in Denerim in distinctive blue and silver, griffons emblazoned on everything you own like "S’up, grey wardens 4 lyfe."
