if you think helen keller wasnt real, i will automatically think youre an ableist and someone who learns from whatever they learned on tiktok. People like you are literally another form of flat earthers
do you thibk helen keller didnt get accommodations? help from other people? especially since she was BORN blind and deaf, of course theyre gonna give her ways to help her live happily and comfortably despite her disabilities
she learned BRAILLE and TACTILE SIGN LANGUAGE. and started reading lips based on using her finger to feel what they said.
"how did she write a book" TYPEWRITERS. EDITORS. COLLABORATING WITH OTHERS. LANGUAGE THROUGH TOUCH. AND EVEN RELYING ON HER MEMORY.
if we think she isnt real then we are truly degenerating as a society
as many of you know, the DANA catastrophe is devastating all throughout southern spain, especially valencia.
i like to think i have enough followers to raise awareness that nobody's talking in the news: the disabled people such a deaf, blind people who couldn't be warned personally of the castrophe and were stuck in that awful situation and may have even died because of the terrible organisation of the government.
i beg you all to also think of them in these devastating moments
Wanted a new background for my phone so I drew my favs cause I'm bias :))

V2 (lineart ver.) and backstory:
DOTS RPG Project
So I don’t how many people already know about these guys (I only just found out about them) but there is this group of people working to make RPG supplies accessible to the blind by creating dice and books in braille and it’s rad.
I love to see people taking the time to make all of this accessible to those who are, frankly, frequently ignored :/
Please follow that link and take a look at the stuff these guys are doing - and if you can help them, please do! Even if it isn’t monetary - in their own words, ways people can help them are...

I THINK I HAVE THE OPPOSITE OF AUTISM
I ALWAYS WANT NOISES TO BE LOUDER
LIGHTS TO BE BRIGHTER
TASTES TO BE STRONGER
TEXTURES TO BE ROUGHER
EITHER THIS IS NORMAL OR I'M SLOWLY LOSING MY SENSES
SAYING THIS SHIT LIKE IT'S QUIRKY BUT IN A WEEK I MIGHT BE DEAF AND BLIND.
I ALREADY HAVE NO TASTE, YOU COULD TELL BY THE OTHER SHIT I POST, SO I THINK IM GOOD THERE
