i told so
and you scream with me
inside
with no sound
quiet
with no sound
without sky
we wil die
with no fucking sound

night conversations
Talking to myself Early in the morning . Where the only reason That I am not put away Is because I can write It all down on paper Or a digital screen. Whether it's in our mind Or outside that pinkish Grey mystery of matter Places proverbial hands On the verbal object Which holds these words Reassuring their certainty.
Reverie over turbid waters
A leaf floats on still waters
Oranges and reds dissolving
In a pool of warm water.
.
In the silence I find much needed peace
Only for it to be shattered
As a raven takes flight
And I can restrain no longer.
.
Bring me joy
And bring me peace
I’ll stab you in your sleep
Not for cause
But just to see
What these dreams are made of.
.
Round and round we dance
Circling a burning bush
And a burning man
While the sounds of the flames grow louder.
.
And in this same place at a different time
Love was true
life was not harsh
and you were still alive to hold my hand.
.
But today we lie within the waters
Prepared to pay the debt to Chaac
To bring the cleansing rains and thunder
and cry no-longer.
.
The leaf disappears
Into the tear-filled turbid waters
and I still see your face upon its broken surface
and my soul drowns for a little longer.
Sometimes
in my most desperate moments
I wonder if everything that connects
me to you

I spy with my little eye...
The heartbroken, trying to smile through the day without spilling the pain begging to be released. The unmistakable sign of utter defeat in each smile. The silent scream: 'stop fucking my life up,godammit'.
-----
The afternoon, bringing taciturnity in a raging world. The soft summer breeze. The bright sun glaring at a silent hour. A lone cry somewhere far. A solitary 'coo' in the air.
--------
The unsettling thoughts, creating unnecessary anxiety. The sudden throwbacks showering upon like monsoon in the Doons. The forgotten regrets, unkept promises, incomplete vows. The one night in late February when your words were my only salvation. The cold winter when I was painfully alone. The million dollar question: 'Why?!?!'. The sudden silence. The crippling feeling of being watched.
-----
Oh my little eye, what do you see now?!
----- Reshita.
No matter how you ignore me, my feelings for you never subside; no matter how cold you are, this love inside me warm my hands; no matter how the past ruined you; with me you can heal and open your heart once again. But there’s something in you that distorts this chance: the fear of losing someone again. But hey girl, I am not losing you. We have the possibility. We can try to make it whole. I am not giving up yet until I hear it from you.

i could write you a thousand poems about your arms, your neck your hair, your skin— you get the idea. you drive me wild but that's not really the point. the point: i don't want to blow through this world without making a dent. every word i unearth from all those bone-white expanses of dead trees is a way to scratch myself onto this earth. it's not really about you, is the problem. it's just a way for me to feel like i'm actually here. like i've ever been here. that might sound self-centred (it probably is) but every one of those thousand poems is for me, even if i say they're for you. forgive me later. for now, though, kiss me, and understand that at least (if nothing else) i tried to make myself understood one time. maybe just once.
