Man, the toxicity Defernull Tenna would bring to the dynamic God save us.
Just all the fucking manipulation that would play into it is horrific. Tenna will forcibly mold us into exactly what he wants and needs. It just reminds me of Fight Club, he is fucking intense.
The start is forgettable and subtle. It's all numbed down to a blur. You're just a part of processed meat on the dolly, a small human in a chaotic ring of Darkners that want to know exactly what you look like unraveled to the bare bones and pushed to the corner.
Do you remember how you got there? Maybe, maybe not, neither matters at this point because, like it or not; you're fighting for not only your soul but your right to keep breathing. Because fists are threatening to bury themselves into your skull the moment you close your eyes.
Defernull Tenna sees such a small thing that has barely fought a day in their life and thinks you will be decent fodder for the audience's taste for violence until the next round. Until, he's reminded that there's a reason why humans are as stubborn as they are. Because they're determination to live overrides all other of their senses and reason. The more their life's are put on the line the better they adapt themselves to their surroundings.
The audience is flabbergasted at the first knockout you deliver, but they roar with excitement and adrenaline the very next second. They want more, and how can Tenna deny himself and his audience such a fantastic show of bravery! All the while all this plays right into Tenna's hands and you don't even know it yet.
He has found his next champion.
ANON YOU'RE COOKING RN 🔥🔥🔥
In case anyone's confused, this is referring to this Deltafell concept I left in my reblogs
CW Blood
Anyways, yess DT!Tenna alr guilt trips and threatens as a manipulation tactic, DF!Tenna would not just stop at that, no he would go beyond, threatening to hurt you personally as well as making sure all of TV World will jump you as soon as you step outside of his studio. They'll eat you alive out there, so why not stay with him? He'll grant you "safety" as long as you keep your end of the bargain.
"You're just a part of processed meat on the dolly, a small human in a chaotic ring of Darkners that want to know exactly what you look like unraveled to the bare bones and pushed to the corner"
Oh this paints such a vivid picture... I imagine Deltafell TV World is the consequences of abuse/exploitation in the entertainment industry being dialed up to the extreme. Tenna may have caved one time to the more vicious whims of the audience and now that's all they ever wanna see, they'll get bored if he doesn't come up with something newer, something more exciting, so he won't disappoint his audience, right?
"Until, he's reminded that there's a reason why humans are as stubborn as they are. Because they're determination to live overrides all other of their senses and reason."
YESSS I LOVE THE REFERENCE TO DETERMINATION HAHAHSDJK 🔥🔥🔥 I didn't even think of it yet it seems like such a powerful and fitting theme for this concept. Other than the mental/physiological aspect of adrenaline keeping them up and running, you could also incorporate the meta aspect of determination if you so choose to. They're the perfect fighter because dying isn't an option, they always win because that's how they escape the loop.
They hold on until they can find an escape.
This version of deltafell ended up being a lot more bloody than I anticipated so idrk if I'll continue making more concepts for this version (unless I feel something interesting can be made from this again), but as like all my other concepts, feel free to pick it up and develop it to your liking if u feel compelled to 👀
if you haven’t done it already…sitting on boxer!rafe’s lap in your shared bathroom and cleaning his cuts and bruises! i think it’d be so so cute :3
omgg i love this idea smm!!
you had been lounging on the couch, sleeping actually with the tv playing softly in the background. it was of one of your matches from a couple days ago, it was a hard loss.
rafe had told you to stay home and rest, and that’s exactly what you had done. but he left for his own match a couple hours ago. he told you it was big one so of course you argued with him. but it ended with him telling you to sleep and rest your body.
rafe opened the door to your guy’s new shared apartment, you guys had been dating for six months. he winced; a soft hiss escaping his lips as he walked in, his eyes shot towards the tv—he saw it was you and the girl you fought..and lost too. he shook his head with a soft smile knowing you stayed up studying your fights and possibly waiting for him to get back.
he limped over and kneeled down by the couch, “angry girl..wake up.” he murmured as his fingers threaded through your hair
you stirred; your eyes fluttered open “rage?” you spoke groggily, and rubbed your eyes.
“yeah its me baby..”
you proceeded to sit up, your eyes focusing on his face. and then your eyes narrowed dangerously on the bruises that bloomed blue and purple across his jawline like a watercolor painting. his lip was busted and was dried with blood.
“so..how was the fight?” you said through gritted teeth and you saw him sigh softly knowing where this was going already.
“go to the bathroom and ill follow you in there.” rafe said tiredly and you did as he asked.
rafe followed behind you into your guys shared bathroom, and sat down with a slight pained grunt on the toilet. you began to grab the first aid from the medicine cabinet and set it down on the counter.
“you didn’t answer my question rage.” you said as you leaned against the counter with your arms crossed.
“it was fine..just glad that its over now.” rafe said gently as his eyes trained on your figure. your muscles rippled slightly.
you sighed through your nose as you collected all the things needed on spot on the bathroom counter. you started with a cotton pad to clean up his lip.
“nah nah..baby come sit.” rafe patted his lap
“are you serious?”
“yes.” his tone was firm and before you knew it you were sat in his lap.
“okay okay..well i hope you know. this is gonna sting.” you said as you tugged his chin down to get a better look at his lip.
he flinched away as the cotton ball touched his lip, her fingers stroked his jaw lightly.
“you’re okay..” you spoke gently. being kind and gentle isn’t really your strong suit but it when it came to rafe it was slightly easier for you.
his fingers gripped your thighs tightly, and a slight hum left your lips as you cleaned him up. he winced and hissed quietly as you cleaned up his bruises and wounds. and you murmured softly and made fun of him of course when he said “ouch” or cursed under his breath.
you gently added ointment to his lip and plasters underneath his eye where a bruise was forming.
“anything other than your face that i gotta clean up, handsome?” you said as you leaned back slightly to get a better look at him
“nah..” rafe said as he wrapped his arms around your body to bring you in closer. his body heat encasing you as you wrapped your arms over his shoulders.
your nails scratched gently against his scalp, you rested your cheek against the top of his head as he pretty much melted into you.
he was almost soft..malleable in your hands. he nosed gently at the column of your throat leaving a soft kiss in thanks.
“you’re such a big baby y’know..” you whispered
“and you’re one to talk..dont think i forgot how you were whining after your match.” rafe said as his hair tickled under your chin.
in that moment it was nice when it was just you two. wrapped in each other’s embrace. you weren’t always this kind, and caring when it came to things like this, but when you were rafe made sure to not take it for granted.
“thank you..”
“for what?”
“cleaning me up..being there. i know you aren’t used to this.”
“i can get used to it for you..rage.” you said softly; your voice wavering slightly as you pressed a kiss against the apple of his cheek.
he smiled “i appreciate it, angry girl.”
“aaand you just fucked it up.” you said with a light huff, your eyes twinkled with amusement.
“hey, hey i didn’t mean it baby..” he whispered softly as he tugged you back down onto his lap as he was still sat on the top of the toilet seat and he pecked your lips lightly, he hissed slightly due to his busted lip.
you hummed against his lips and pulled away.
“okay we’re done..im retired from doctor duty.”
“yeah, stick to your day job sparky.”
you rolled your eyes and began to clean up the bathroom. rafe’s eyes watched you adoringly like a dog watching its owner prepare its food.
he couldn’t help to think how lucky he was to have you like this. through all your anger and snappy remarks and mean words. he thought you were perfect.
“i love you, baby.”
“i love you, handsome.” you said with a soft smile
(I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS ONE!! i thought this idea was sooo cuteee!! i love them smm! )
fem, boxer!reader x opponent!kara zor-el and manager!lois lane | who they came to see? me. / who rep like me? don’t make me get up out my seat ♪
✦ lyrics from my house by beyonce.
✦ this idea came to me a while back but now i actually have time to flesh it out, yay! basically, this is a complete rewrite of the dc universe so there’s no powers or anything, just plain human boxing. sort of a celebrity!au but they’re boxing celebs (and sexy manager lois lane). sorry in advance if this is inaccurate to the boxing experience LOL i’m mostly in it for the wlw…
✦ you met kara your senior year of high school. both of you were already into boxing, which gave you two the common ground necessary to become such fast friends. both of you decided to go to the same college, which is where you met lois lane— the most brilliant woman either of you would ever meet. clever but not cruel. smart but not a know-it-all and a bit of a local heartbreaker; she was the apple of both of your eyes, naturally.
✦ lois never did choose between the two of you, though. she’d flit back and forth throughout college, leaving both of you to want more. no one was anyone’s official girlfriend, but it wasn’t like lois saw anyone else, either. it was always you, kara, and her. a mess of helping someone dye her hair or sleeping in someone else’s dorm because your roommate was being annoying or sex in one of your cars after a successful boxing match.
✦ then, one day, things changed. you and kara became professionals after building a solid amateur record. kara dropped out of college her senior year, focusing on pro-boxing; you struggled but managed to balance both, graduating with a few good pro fights under your belt. you drifted apart from kara, and closer to lane. things picked up, and eventually lois became your manager, something kara took offense to. she announced on some livestream or post-fight interview that the two of you were bitter rivals. ever since then, you’ve been duking it out in the ring with her.
✦ moving on to fun stuff!!! your walk out song is my house by beyonce. you’re known as a bit of a sex symbol alongside being a boxer, especially on apps like tiktok. the comments under any edit of you always include some variation of “we love a diva who can box”. you do book some fashion modeling gigs and magazine photoshoots. i think people would really love/be fascinated with the femininity outside the ring juxtaposed by the ruthlessness inside the ring.
✦ you and kara shade each other. publicly. a lot. sometimes lois has to ban you from commenting/replying. insta stories, tiktok posts, sooo many tweets— the two of you love tweeting after the other wins/loses. it’s as serious as it is iconic. people don’t take it too seriously, assuming it’s for pr/interactions (it’s not).
✦ and yet, your heart beats fast and your cheeks burn with heat whenever her fist makes contact with your body. the blonde will push you into a corner (she loves cornering people, repeatedly punching or kicking them into a tough spot) and you’ll love every second of it. not for the adrenaline, not for the pain, but fuck… it’s kara, close to you again. you can’t help but enjoy it, even if you’re fighting.
✦ btw, the public does not know the reasoning behind the beef. hell, they don’t even know you’re dating your manager! well, trying to date, anyways. sometimes, it feels like lois just enjoys watching you two fight over her. other times, you’ll have your head in her lap and she’ll be reading to you, all sweet and domestic. she’s complicated; you’ve always liked that about her, but that doesn’t make it less frustrating.
✦ the messiest love triangle known to man was born in 2024 when challengers dropped… but this might break top five messiest love triangles, lol. i think eventually kara would break and invite reader out for a drink and they’d drunkenly forgive each other. the next day they wake up next to each other and both go “aw shit…”
✦ i just knowwww kara lois and reader are freaky, too. i’m not going to go into detail but whew…. i know they’re freaky…

✨️Masterlist✨️
The air inside the abandoned warehouse off the industrial strip of Oceanside was thick with a chaotic, lawless energy: the metallic smell of blood, cheap beer, stale sweat, and the aggressive roar of a crowded room. Fighters come here to let out their worst impulses, using the unregulated, bare-knuckle fights to tear each other apart for quick cash.
Craig stood near the edge of the makeshift ring, a wad of bills in one hand and a half-empty beer in the other. He loved the pure chaos of the underground circuit, constantly tracking the biggest, meanest guys in the room to place his bets.
"Hey, look who just walked in," Craig said, barking a laugh as he nudged the shoulder of the pope who was beside him. He pointed toward the back entrance where the bookies were taking bets. "That's Marcus. The guy I buy that insane green from. What the hell is he doing here?"
Andrew didn't answer right away. His unblinking blue eyes slowly tracked Marcus, but his gaze instantly locked onto the girl walking half a step behind him.
It was you. You looked completely out of place, yet entirely lethal. Your hair was styled into two neat, sleek twin braids that hung over your shoulders, contrasting sharply with the sweaty, blood-stained crowd around you. You wore a fitted black athletic sports bra that accented your toned core, paired with loose black-and-red satin boxing shorts. Your hands were meticulously wrapped in black and gold hand-wraps, and your ankles were taped, ready for combat. But despite looking like a literal weapon, your face was a mask of pure, unbothered boredom.
"Man, I really rather be napping on my off day," you muttered loudly to Marcus, rolling your shoulders as you looked around the grimy warehouse with an annoyed sigh. "You owed me a spa day for this, Marcus. Seriously. If I get a single speck of this floor dirt on me, the split is seventy-thirty."
"Chill, sis, we're twins, we share everything," Marcus laughed, giving you a reassuring slap on the back before spotting Craig across the room. He walked over, leaving you to lean casually against a wooden support pillar, looking like you wanted to yawn.
"Craig! What's good, man?" Marcus greeted, shaking Craig's hand.
"What's up, bro? Didn't know you frequented the slums," Craig grinned, then leaned in, lowering his voice as his eyes flicked back to you. "Hey, who's the girl? She's gorgeous, man, but this isn't exactly a safe spot for a date."
"That's my twin sister," Marcus proud-smiled, tapping his chest. "And she's not a date. She's the main event. Listen to me, man. Take whatever cash you got in your pocket right now, and bet it all on her. Every single dime."
Craig blinked, looking from Marcus over to you. You were currently examining your fingernails, looking thoroughly unbothered by a massive, 230-pound tatted fighter who was aggressively staring you down from across the ring.
"Bro, are you crazy?" Craig hissed, genuinely skeptical. "She's fighting against guys, Marcus. Huge guys. She's gonna get killed in there. Look at her, she looks like an easy target for these roid-heads."
"I'm telling you, bet the house," Marcus insisted with a smirk. "Trust me."
Standing completely silent beside them, Andrew hadn't taken his eyes off you for a single fraction of a second. His chest rose and fell in shallow breaths. He knew violence inside and out. But when he looked at you, he didn't see the chaotic, sloppy rage of the usual underground fighters. He saw absolute, terrifying discipline. The way you stood, your center of gravity, the fluid ease of your movements it captivated him instantly. His jaw clenched, his broad shoulders dropping as a strange, overwhelming fixation settled deep in his chest.
"Alright! Next up!" the announcer shouted into a megaphone, the crowd roaring as the massive 230-pound fighter stepped over the ropes, flexing his muscles. "We got Big Mike! And opposing him... a new face!"
The crowd broke into a mix of jeers, laughs, and mocking whistles as you casually stepped into the cage. The bookies were instantly swamped with people betting heavily against you, the odds skyrocketing in Big Mike's favor. Marcus smirked, confidently dumping a massive stack of cash onto the betting table for you. Craig, sweating under the pressure but fueled by Marcus's confidence, nervously threw his entire wad of cash down too.
You stood in the center of the cage, bouncing slightly on your toes, your posture balanced and perfectly controlled. Your twin braids brushed against your collarbone as you looked at Big Mike like he was an annoying chore you had to finish before you could go home and get that spa day on your brothers dime.
"Don't cry when I break your pretty little face, sweetheart," Mike sneered, raising his bare fists.
You didn't even reply. You just brought your wrapped hands up, tucked your chin, and waited for the signal.
The moment the fight started, Mike lunged forward with a heavy, sloppy right cross.
You didn't flinch. With the blinding speed of a seasoned pro, you simply slipped the punch, your upper body moving a fraction of an inch as his fist sailed harmlessly past your ear. He threw a left hook; you rolled under it effortlessly, your twin braids catching the air.
"Holy shit," Craig breathed, his eyes widening as he leaned forward into the chainlink cage. "He's not even getting close to hitting her."
Mike grew furious, throwing a rapid barrage of wild, uncalculated punches. But you were completely a different breed. You moved like water, reading his weight distribution flawlessly. You never got hit. Not even once. You smoothly sidestepped every single clumsy attempt, looking completely bored as you dodged his attacks.
Then, you saw your opening.
As Mike overextended on a wild swing, leaving his left side completely exposed, you planted your foot and counter-punched with terrifying velocity. A lightning-fast left jab snapped his head back, followed instantly by a devastating, compact right hook that caught him clean on the chin.
*CRACK.*
The sound of your wrapped knuckles hitting his jaw was precise and brutal. Mike’s eyes rolled back instantly. His massive frame went completely limp, crashing face-first onto the canvas floor, knocked out cold in a single combination.
The warehouse went dead silent for a fraction of a second before Marcus erupted into cheers.
Craig’s jaw was literally on the floor. He stared at the unconscious giant, then up at you, completely stunned. "One combo... she didn't even get a scratch on her."
Andrew didn't make a sound. He stood frozen behind the wall of the cage, his hands gripping the groves so tightly his knuckles turned white. His unblinking blue eyes were wide, completely mesmerized. The sheer elegance of your dominance, the absolute grace of your violence it completely unhinged him. He had never seen anyone move like that. You didn't just win; you totally crushed him without even breaking a sweat. A heavy, possessive heat flared in his chest, his gaze locking onto the sharp line of your shoulders as you casually stepped over the unconscious brawler.
"Alright, hold on!" the announcer bellowed into the megaphone as the crowd started buzzing with high-stakes energy. The bookies were frantically shifting the numbers on the board, realizing they had completely misjudged you. "We got a double-header tonight! Since Big Mike couldn't last a single round, who wants a piece of the newcomer? We need a real challenger!"
From the dark corner of the warehouse, a notorious underground regular stepped forward. His name was 'The Anvil' a muscular, scarred kickboxer known for throwing brutal shin kicks and fighting incredibly dirty. He spit on the floor, ripping his shirt off as he glared at you, completely offended that a woman had just cleared the ring so easily.
"Put me in," The Anvil grunted, stepping into the cage. "I'll show her what an actual fight feels like."
Down at the betting table, Marcus didn't even hesitate. He took the fresh mountain of cash he had just won from the first match and shoved it right back onto the line. "Put it all on my sister again. Double or nothing."
Craig looked at Andrew, his heart racing from the adrenaline of the last knockout. "Pope, what do you think? You think she can do it twice? The Anvil fights dirty, man. He catches people with low blows all the time."
Andrew finally spoke, his voice incredibly deep, rough, and absolute. "She'll win."
Craig stared at him, surprised by the sheer certainty in his brother's tone. Andrew’s eyes hadn't strayed from you for a single second. He was tracking the tight, athletic coordination of your frame, completely under your spell.
Back in the ring, you let out a heavy, dramatic sigh, adjusting the black and gold wrap on your left wrist. "Seriously, Marcus? Another one? I am missing my favorite true crime documentary for this."
"Just one more, sis! Think about the spa package!" Marcus yelled back, grinning wildly.
The Anvil didn't wait for a formal countdown. The second the announcer raised his hand, he charged forward, immediately launching a vicious, heavy kick aimed directly at your lead leg to take out your balance.
The crowd gasped, expecting to hear bone snap, but you anticipated the move before he even lifted his foot. You checked the kick effortlessly, lifting your shin to absorb the minor impact with your taped ankle, instantly pivoting on your back foot.
The Anvil recovered quickly, throwing a dirty, aggressive elbow right toward your temple. You ducked underneath the strike with flawless precision, your twin braids whipping through the air as you cut a sharp angle to his blind side. He swung wildly around to find you, completely frustrated, exposing his throat and midsection.
You didn't give him another chance.
With blinding speed, you executed a brutal three-punch combination. A piercing straight right landed dead center on his nose, fracturing it instantly. As he stumbled backward, clutching his face, you stepped into his guard, delivering a punishing left hook to his ribs that made him gasp for air, followed instantly by a soaring, thunderous uppercut right under his chin.
*BAM.*
The Anvil’s feet literally left the ground for a split second before he collapsed backward, crashing heavily against the ropes and sliding down onto the canvas in a heap, completely unconscious.
The entire warehouse erupted into absolute madness. People were screaming, throwing their cups into the air, completely shocked by the utter destruction they had just witnessed. Two fights, two massive opponents, and you hadn't taken a single clean hit.
Craig was jumping up and down, completely losing his mind as Marcus wrapped him in a celebratory bear hug. "I won! Oh my god, she's a machine! Marcus, your sister is an absolute weapon!"
Andrew didn't join the cheering. He stood entirely still, his breathing shallow, his hands clenched into fists as he stared up at you. His dark blue eyes were wide, completely blown out with an intense, unadulterated fixation. The raw power, the effortless speed, the absolute dominance you displayed twice in a row had completely unhinged him. He found you entirely, undeniably captivating a force of nature standing in the middle of a gritty, broken world.
You walked out the cage, completely unfazed, wiping a nonexistent speck of dust off your shorts. "Alright, Marcus. Grab the cash. I'm going home to take that nap."
As Marcus gathered the heavy bags of money, you turned to leave, but stopped when you felt the sheer weight of a stare burning into the side of your face. You turned your head and met Andrew's eyes.
He was staring at you from the edge of the ring, his expression intense, wide, and entirely captivated, looking at you like you were a force of nature. You didn't shrink away from his dark gaze. Instead, you looked him up and down, a slow, intrigued smirk playing on your lips as you noted the raw, rugged intensity of his frame. You gave him a slow, knowing nod before turning on your heel, your twin braids swinging over your shoulders as you walked out into the night with your brother.
Craig stared at the exit, still shaking his head in disbelief, while Andrew remained rooted to the spot, his eyes fixed on the empty doorway, his mind completely consumed by the girl who was simply unmatched.
An: imma refer to everyone as their irl names cause it just feels cringe and weird to call them their gamer tags constantly 😭 so for anyone who doesn’t know:
Grizzy: Nelson
Puffer: Chris
Droid: Jamie
Pezzy: Max
Reader: *Name/Gamertag*
And probably more later on but we’ll see…but I will be using their gamer tags during the podcast section. ALSO, THERE WILL BE NO NSFW ABOUT THESE PEOPLE OR ANY OTHER IRL PEOPLE I END UP WRITING ABOUT (unless they're playing an obvious character in an irl movie,) THESE PEOPLE ARE REAL AND DO NOT CONSET TO BEING DEPICTED THAT WAY, there will be some romantic attributes to the story obviously, like kissing and other dynamics, but everyone needs to understand that these people are real, they're alive they're not made up, yes we can have our little crushes and write our dumb little fanfics about them but making straight up porn about them is so fucking weird. Not just for these people but for other creators as well. RANT OVER, sorry😭
AN #2: fair warning, you’ll know if you’ve read any of my other fics that I always try to keep the character in my fic as reader friendly as possible, that being said this will be a fem reader fic, mainly bc I’m a woman and it’s much more comfortable for me to write female characters, and it’ll also be mentioned in this fic that the reader has long enough hair to be put into an updo, it doesn’t specify how long or thick or any bs like that but I just wanted to let everyone know beforehand. Also it’s mentioned later how reader is absolutely built, so do with that what you will.
You were basically an idol, you were a very very big face in the female bare knuckle fighting scene, you were the John Cena of your sport, and it was amazing.
“Wait so like, okay, how does the fighting thing like actually go?” Max asked as you sat down between him and Jamie. Chris had just gotten through with saying the intro and introducing you. “Like, what do you mean?” you ask back, not getting what he’s asking. “Like, it is like the WWE where you do like flips and jump off the cables n’stuff,” he asked curiously causing you to chuckle a bit. “No no none of that, we get to pick a walkout song and talk with our managers for a full three minutes before actually having to fight, and I do fight in a ring similar to the wrestling ones, but the cables are padded and aren’t elastic or anything and its a hell of a lot smaller,” you explained. “Damn, so it’s like actual fighting,” Nelson chimed in. “What, you thought I was just playing around in there or something?” You raised your eyebrow while Nelson held up his hands in defense. “Nah, that’s not what I meant, I just kinda thought it was like the wrestling matches that Pezzy was talking about, where like some of it’s real but it’s mostly performance,” he stated. “Yeah no, we beat the shit out of each other,” you say with a laugh, lifting your shirt a bit to expose your ribcage where a massive purple and greenish bruise sat, earning a cringing face from everyone in the room. “Holy shit dude,” “yeah I lost my last fight, I got this when she K.O’d me, she threw a hard ass left hook to my face and then as I was falling kneed me in the ribs,” you say pulling your shirt back down. “She got a deduction so I wasn’t all upset but damn, it still hurts like a bitch,” you say with a his as you rub the area through your shirt gently. “Yeah, that looks fucking horrible,” Jamie said with a strained voice. “See that's why I could never do that typa shit, if I were a boxer and my opponent disrespected me like that I’m coming for their fucking family,” he said aggressively, everyone chuckling out loud at his words. “Yeah I mean you kinda know what to expect once you know who you’re up against, this Woman was pretty rough around the edges and known for playing dirty so I kinda expected it,” you admit. “I guess, but damn you have a lot of restraint not getting back up and just crashing out, that’s what I would’ve done, shit,” Chris chimes in. “Well, what the fuck was I supposed to do I was knocked out,” you say defensively. “So did you like go to the hospital or anything afterwards??,” Max asked in a concerned tone. “Technically. I got checked in to my team's doctor and I was advised not to drive myself anywhere for at least two days, that's real, KO’s are no joke,” you said, leaning back into the couch a bit more to get more comfortable.
“Not to like interrupt or anything but like hearing you talk about this is like finally clicking for me, like bro, we dreamed about this when we were kids, this is insane,” Jamie chimed in, he looked kind of nostalgic, which got you thinking more. “Yeah dude I was thinking about that yesterday,” you say as you look at him. “Literally all I talked about was being a boxer or a fighter as a kid and now I’m like actually here getting booked for multiple fights every month, it’s crazy to me,” you agreed with Jamie and he nodded. “And then the same thing with you, you talked so much about becoming a streamer when you were a kid so it’s just like damn, we're like finally here,” you said, the weight of it all setting in. “How far back do y'all even go?” Nelson asked. “I know that y'all were friends when Droid first started streaming, because that's how I met you,” he pointed to you. “But did y'all like actually grow up together or what?” “Pffff, this is my day one dude,” Jamie says casually as he reclines his arm over the back of the couch behind you. “We knew each other when we were still in daycare,” he said as he glanced at you.
“Yeah no me Droid and lived like right down the road from each other,” you say as you adjust yourself between the two guys. “Yeah but like, what age did y’all meet?” Nelson asks.“I think four maybe? Possibly earlier,” you glance over at Jamie and he nods in agreement, “holy shit so y'all like actually grew up together;” Chris said. “Yeah basically, our moms were pretty good friends and I was literally like two houses down from him, so our moms always just kinda put us in the same room while they talked, and we just kinda figured shit out,” you say as you laugh a bit. Jamie laughs too, swallowing his drink so he doesn’t choke on it. “Yeah, bro I remember her mom just came over one day and I saw *gamertag* and I was like ‘what the fuck’,” everyone started laughing, with Max chiming in. “I’m just like imagining baby you,” he says as he points to you, “and baby Droid just like staring at each other,” he says with a laugh. “No cause that’s literally how it was!” You exclaim. “After that, we were just over at each other's house all the time until we were like 12,” Jamie said as everyone’s laughter died down. Chris chuckled a bit, “So what, y'all just stopped hanging out after you turned 12?” he said, everyone laughing a bit more before you responded. “No, I mean like, we started hanging around each other independently, like we wouldn’t just see each other at our mom's house, we’d like be cool around each other in school and stuff,” you say, sipping your energy drink before setting it down again. “Yeah, we met like…maybe a year before going to preschool?, so we knew each other before we even started being social with other kids,” Jamie looks at you to confirm before continuing. “And we didn’t really talk like, at all outside of our moms houses, and then when we got to middle school, everything and everyone just turned akward as hell so we just kinda became better friends because it was like a fucking free for all,” you laugh out, “yeah man middle school was a fucking joke, we were so insanely chopped too, like brother what the fuck were we doing,” you sigh out dramatically as the images of middle school you pop up through your mind like flash bangs. “Yeah fucking right bro, we were nerds in middle school,” Jamie says as he runs his hands over his face, the same thing likely happening to him. “I think that’s the universal experience for everyone,” Max chimes in. “I mean hell, I know I was awkward as fuck in middle school,” he looks over at Nelson. “Oh yeah for sure, middle school was almost my 13th reason, and high school… I just hated school bro,” then everyone simultaneously looked over to Chris, causing everyone to laugh and Chris to look a bit caught off guard. “I don’t know why y'all are looking at me, middle school wasn’t even that bad for me,” he says causing us to laugh some more. The silence after everyone settled down was interrupted by a ding from your phone. You quickly take your phone out to look at it, the familiar ringtone exciting you. “Wowww, okay we see how it is,” Jamie jokes as he looks at you with a fake judgmental look. You chuckled, “Sorry, Sorry, it’s my manager's ringtone I have to check it,” you say apologetically, reading over the text before pausing and looking at everyone in the room. “Cut this if you want but,” you gesture to the camera.
“Y'all wanna go to Vegas?” you ask out of the blue. “What?” Everyone says in unison, causing you to pause and smile a bit before continuing. “I just got booked for a fight in Vegas, and my big boss always allows me to fly out a few people, something about ‘good publicity’ and stuff, are y'all down?” you ask around the room as you look at everyone. “Can’t, I’ve got that trip I’ve been planning, imma be gone for like two weeks with Megan,” “Oh sorry, I forgot about that,” you say apologetically, but Chris just waves his hand dismissively. “Nah don’t apologize you’re good,” Jamie just looks at Max and Nelson, he leaned forward dramatically causing everyone to laugh at the expression on his face. “Y'all are we going to Vegas??,” he asks Max and Nelson in a weary tone, as if he’s trying not to get too excited. Max looks at everyone, and so does Nelson, as if they’re contemplating. Jamie already knew the gist of what was going on, you’d flown him out to Florida, Cali, and all the fun places multiple times to come watch you back when his schedule was a bit more lenient, but now that he’s grown so much the trips became less and less. Which wasn’t that big of a deal, you were happy he’d gotten the proper hype he deserved, but now was an awesome opportunity to finally take not just him, but everyone out on a big trip. “I mean I’m going to Vegas no matter what, it’s up to y’all whether y’all come with me or not,” you say as you put your hands up, making sure they know that it’s all just up to them. “Wait like we’re going to get a free flight out to Vegas?” Nelson asks in a high-pitched tone, leaning forward in his chair also. “Wait free flights?!,” Max turns around swiftly to look at you.“Yeah bro what part of ‘fly you out’ means you’ll have to pay for your tickets??,” you say in an obvious tone as you look at Max. “And your managers like okay with this?? They just let you do this??,” he asks bewildered. “Yeah I tend to go out in public more and do more shit that gets me good publicity so Davi just told me I can bring people with me to my fights, I’ve just gotta let him know in advance, and I’m sure he’d love it even more cause you’re all pretty big creators so it’s even better,” you say as you pull up the message again, just to make sure you were correct. “Shit, I mean I’m down for Vegas,” Jamie says as he looks over to the other two guys. “Hell yeah dude let’s go to Vegas,” Max agreed, Nelson chiming in as well, “Fuck it, guess we’re going to Vegas,” he said, sealing the trip. “Alright then, I’ll text my manager, we’ll probably fly out in three days,” you checked with them to make sure that worked for them, and thankfully it did. You were excited now, they’d all finally get to experience what your job was. You knew what their jobs were like, having fun with friends and playing video games, but now it was their turn. They’d finally get to stay in the nice hotels and see you in the big arena and not just on the TV. You were pumped. “Man, you’ll all love Davi so much, and you’ll get to see the rest of my team,” you said excitedly as you rubbed your hands together. “Davi’s your manager right,” Chris asks. “Yeah, he’s more like family, think of the fun uncle you only see on holidays, that’s Davi,” You described him to the best of your ability.
“It all goes back to Vegas,” Chris said after everything died down, causing you and Max to laugh, and the other guys to chuckle. “Vegas this, Pokémon that, we’ve got like three main topics that it always circles back to,” Nelson said as he grabbed his drink. “What’s the third then?” Chris asked. “Gsupps, use code Cloo at checkout,” Nelson said smoothly as he looked and pointed to the camera smugly, causing Chris, Jamie, and Max to burst out in laughter. “Now this has me thinking, is what it’s like to be a woman?” Everyone is giving Jamie an odd look because of his question. “Oh wait you mean like-,” Nelson begins before laughing his ass off and composing himself after a few seconds of wheezing laughter. “You mean like getting flown out and stuff, is that what you mean?” he finished his previous thought as he tried to catch his breath. This caused you and Max to start laughing as well as it clicked on what Jamie meant. “I mean yeah bro think about it! Hot girls get flown out for free to fancy places all the time! That’s us right now!” he exclaimed, trying to reason with everyone. “Dude, I’ve flown you out to so many places, why is this just now popping into your head??,” you ask Jamie as you laugh, he just smiles back at you. “I don’t know, maybe it’s just because it’s like all of us going together?, I feel like a groupie,” he shrugs, not knowing his reasoning. “Wait, Droid, you’ve gone to Vegas with *Gamer Tag* before?” Chris asks. “Well no, not Vegas, but yeah I used to travel with her all the time,” he admits as Max turns to face Chris. “Yeah, bro remember like three years ago when he was gone for a week like every other month?” he says raising an eyebrow. “That whole time you were traveling with *Gamer Tag*!?,” Nelson exclaims. “Yeah boy, *Gamer Tag* was flying me out damn near everywhere for front row seats, the only time I didn’t go with her was international fights or big tournaments,” Jamie says as he brings an arm over your shoulder and shakes you gently, as if to hype you up. “Yeah, I made Droid my water boy,” “Okay buddy,” Jamie takes his hand away swiftly and puts on an act of distancing himself from you as a joke, causing everyone to laugh again. “Waterboy is crazy,” Max says as he leans backwards.
You leaned back into the sofa too, the conversation flowing between everyone and your mind drifting off a bit, already thinking about Vegas, this was going to be a damn good trip…
The cameras have stopped rolling and the episode was wrapped up. Chris left shortly after saying bye to everyone to pack for his trip with Megan. You waved and told him to tell Megan you said hi, and then he was off. Now everyone was just relaxing in the studio, mostly lining out the details of the trip. “How long are we gonna stay do you think?” Jamie asked, he knew that it usually varied from time to time how long you'd end up staying wherever you were booked. “Uhh, this trip is going to probably be like five days, the first two days will be kinda just for fun, and then on the third day is my weigh-in day and the fourth is my fight, and then the fifth day will be a half day and that's when we'll fly back,” you explain to them all. “This is going to be so fucking cool dude, I've only ever seen you fight on TV, now I get to see it IRL,” Max says happily. “Yeah it’s definitely a lot more fun being there in person, plus our announcers are pretty funny too,” you say with a smile. “What are we going to do on the first two days then?” Nelson asks. “Well I was thinking we’d go to the Casinos or something, maybe go sightseeing and explore a bit, just get comfortable and stuff,” everyone nods in agreement. “We could hit up a few bars or something, maybe find a good club, y'all can find wherever y'all wanna go and I’ll follow, I haven’t been to Vegas as many times as y'all have,” you said as you looked at them. “Nah, that’s mean, we won’t make you go to bars,” Jamie said, dismissing your offer. “What? What’s wrong with bars?” Max asked. “Dude she doesn’t drink,” Nelson pointed out to him. “You don’t drink??,” he says as he dramatically turns to face you. “Dude I’ve been to multiple parties with everyone and I never drink at all, do you just not pay attention?” you ask with a laugh. “I mean I guess not, damn, I never knew that,” he said as he turned back to look at Nelson as he laughed too. “How did I pick up on that before you did,” he says with a chuckle. “I don’t know man, maybe I’m just not that aware of my surroundings at parties,” Max shrugs. “Nah but we can still go to bars and stuff, I still have fun while I’m there,” you assured them. “We’ll figure something out,” Jamie says leisurely, everyone agreeing. “Do you just not drink because you don’t like alcohol or what?” Nelson asked. “Yeah I’ve never been a big fan of it in the first place, and I also have to stay in a certain weight bracket at all times so alcohol has never been worth it to me because it tastes bad and I gain a lot of weight by drinking too,” you explain to him. “Ahhh ok, I knew you didn’t drink but I never actually asked you why,” he nodded. “There’s so much sugar and bad stuff in alcoholic drinks, and it doesn’t even taste that good to me, so I’d rather cheat with like actual candy or good food rather than Alcohol,” he say, Nelson nodding with you. “Yeah I understand that,” Jamie’s arm was still planted behind you on the couch from before, the movement as natural for him as breathing. “I’m sure we could find some other fun places besides bars and clubs, I mean it’s Vegas, there’s gonna be other things you do,” he points out. “Yeah you’re right, I’ll start looking stuff up, and we’ll all get seats together on the plane so we can talk about it,” you say, not stressing about where y'all were going to go. “To be honest, it’ll probably be a lot easier to go places and do things cause we won’t have a part of forty people or something,” Max says. “Oh absolutely, we can literally go anywhere, with a lot less of a wait time, we’ll actually get to explore Vegas this time, not just wait around for everyone to be ready and n’stuff,” Jamie says as he chuckles a bit.
The conversation continues as you all work out the details of the trip, ending up with everyone getting their private room all in the same hall, and everyone getting first-class tickets straight to Vegas. You were all ecstatic, such a vacation out of the blue felt like Christmas in July. You truly believed it was going to be amazing.
After saying goodbye to everyone, you got in Jamie’s car, since he was the one who drove you here in the first place. He started up the car as you relaxed back into the nice leather seats as the music hummed softly through the aged speakers. Not a luxurious car, but a nice one, and one with character, you loved his car. It was silent for a bit, a comfortable silence obviously, everything you felt in Jamie’s presence could only be described as having all the characteristics of ‘Home’ plastered all over it. Both your mom and your dad were happily retired, off traveling and having the fun retirement they so badly deserved, so Jamie was the only Kin you had close to you, him and his family of course. With your parents off on some trip in Europe, or somewhere foreign, it was always nice to have a familiar face from your past be with you, it was just nice to have Jamie around in general.
Five minutes of calm silence are abruptly interrupted by Jamie’s Voice. “You’re sure you’re okay with all of us going?” he asked wearily. You raised your brow and glanced at him oddly. “Yeah man, why wouldn’t I be?” you're face looks puzzled. “I don’t know, don’t get me wrong I’ve always loved traveling with you but I kinda felt like I was always being greedy I guess,” he admits softly, his eyes trained on the road ahead of him. “I get where you’re coming from but you don’t need to feel like that, my boss pays for these trips for me and whoever I bring along, so really all the moneys coming outta his pocket, so you don’t hafta’ worry about me,” you said with a smile as you nudged his shoulder, earning a grin from him as well. “I guess, but you’ve at least gotta let me pay you back a bit in Vegas,” he said trying to compromise. “I won’t stop you from getting me a gift or two I just need you to know that this round trip is costing me nothing,” you said jokingly, smiling as you knew you’d successfully lightened the mood. The comfortable silence filled the car again, and you just sat against the seats warm leather and gazed at Jamie.
You didn’t really know what you were feeling. Of course, you loved Jamie; you’ve known him your whole life. You grew up in his house, and he grew up in yours. Your lives are so endlessly tangled together to the point where it’s hard to decipher who’s more intertwined with who. His mom bakes you your birthday cakes, she’s done that ever since you can remember, and if Jamie’s not home his dad will drop by and ask you to dog sit Jax’s. You talked with his sister about all the embarrassing stories about him, as if you weren’t there for all of them. You stay over at his house whenever he’s away, watching Oso and keeping an eye on his house, sleeping in his bed, and showering in his shower while he’s gone. Jamie checks your mail for you and brings you takeout whenever he gets it for himself. He goes on grocery runs for you whenever you’re sick and stays the night at your house when you’re not on top of your game because he knows you hate being alone. But it runs so so much deeper than that. Your lives are so mangled together that you both bleed into the small crevices of each other's daily routine. He always sits next to you, no matter what, and no matter where, his arm is always resting on the back of your chair, or over your shoulders. When he passes you his hand weaves its way to the small of your back, not even just when it’s ‘necessary’ but just out of habit sometimes. He always walks you to your door, you never get to open any of your doors when you’re around him or pull out any of your chairs. He always asks you to fix his hair because he ‘likes the way you do it’. Anytime he goes anywhere on a trip he brings you back at least three trinkets or gifts, because he was just ‘thinking of you’ while he was gone. He likes for you to sleep over during thunderstorms because he likes to be safe and know that you’re safe too. You go to doctors' visits with him, more like drag him to the doctors, just because he knows that if he doesn’t know something about himself, you do.
All of it blurs so much that you’ve somewhat completely forgotten how to think traditionally, or maybe you just never knew how to in the first place. Boyfriend? What? No, you’ve got Jamie. But, Jamie’s not your boyfriend, and you’re not his girlfriend. You and Jamie are NOT together, but neither of you ever really talk about getting into relationships either. What do you need a boyfriend for? You have Jamie, he knows every single little thing about you, from basic things like your favorite color, and what movies you like, to the mundane things like how you like your eggs cooked in the morning, and that you most likely get sick around certain times of the month. That didn’t mean that you didn’t recognize that you were attracted to Jamie, oh you were. His hair was always so handsome to you, you loved how he kept it semi-long, and you loved how funny he was. He was your type, or maybe your type was just Jamie, your type was anyone who resembled him the closest.
But it’s was the fear that kept you from taking that next step. It was such a blessing to have someone as caring and loving as Jamie in your life, but it was also scary. What if he didn’t feel the same way at all and just loved you like a sister, what if you screwed it all up? The draw back of having someone so intangled in your very person, nearly as much as you were in theirs, was just that. If something went wrong and things got awkward, how would you even survive without him. You’ve known the warmth of his bed and the comfort of his grip late at night with the rain pouring down like rapids outside the window just a few feet from you. And you’ve known the smell of his kitchen the very next morning when he insists on cooking you breakfast. What would you do if you lost it all? You couldn’t even think about it, so you don’t, you just comfortably bask in the blurriness of the line defining what you two were to each other.
His car rolled to a stop, and he shifted the gear into park, swiftly getting out and jogging to the passenger side door. You’d just learned to not even attempt to open your door, you were often met with it being closed back in your face or you being playfully shoved back into the car just so Jamie could close the door and re-open it for you, some battles you’ve learned to submit in. He opened your door and extended you a hand because the curb was quite steep. After helping you out he walked you up to your door, his shoulder rubbing with yours as you both walked the paved path, his hand finding your lower back again. You pull your keys out and Jamie simply places a chaste kiss to your temple where he stands next to you, taking his hand away from the small of your back and heading back to his car. “Goodnight, *Name*, see you tomorrow,” he said as he got further from you, your keys unlocking your door. Of course you’d see him tomorrow, you saw him every day. “Night Jamie!,” you say loudly as he was already back to his car and you stepped into your house.
haiiiiii, this is my first time requesting 😖😖😖😖😖 what ab boxer ellie and boxer reader fucking ts out of each other 😖😖😖😖😖
BOXER!ELLIE WILLIAMS X BOXER!READER
mdni please<3
warnings: 18+!! just.. smut
writers note: im so proud you trusted me with your first request??!!?!! omg also idk im no boxer so.. but i tried !! also this is some short drabble or whatever buut im posting it anyway because.. yes
you always admired ellie at the gym, what usually made your workout session worthless. you were a boxer, just like her. you knew every punch or kick you saw her do, it wasn't anything new nor special. yet, the way she did them brought your attention. her movements were fluid, quick, and precise. there was no hesitation or wasted energy. everything was a perfectly timed, deliberate attack. the way she moved was like liquid, weaving through the air with ease. she was art in motion, each strike a beautifully crafted, deadly dance.
and then, she saw you looking at her. her determinated expression got replaced by the playful smirk that made you lose your mind.
"hey!" she chuckled. "anything interesting?"
her green shirt was clinging to her body, exposing every curve and muscle. it was difficult not to keep staring at her.
you tried to compose yourself, to play it cool and not let her get to you. "just watching you, and thinking about all the ways i could beat you." you gave her a cheeky grin, and raised your eyebrow to let her know you're not one to be messed with.
she laughed and approached you. "care to show me on a practice session later?" she asked playfully.
"of course!" you smiled back at her, your heart racing as her body draws nearer to yours with each step. still, you played along, pretending to be confident and totally-not-impressed. "who knows, maybe i can show you a thing or two that you haven't seen before." you added with a smirk on your own face.
as she got close, you could feel the heat from her body and see how her shirt clings to her curves like second skin. your face flushed with blood and you had to look away, unable to keep a steady gaze as she drew your eyes back to her with that inviting smirk.
that's how you ended up between her legs, showing her 'a thing or two she haven't seen before'. your tongue dipped inside her cunt, collecting everything in your mouth. then, you moved to lick her folds sleek, carefully moving up and down, stopping at her clit to suck on it. she was trying her best to stay quiet and keep her 'unbothered' facade, but you thought it's useless after she failed once. oh, how oblivious she was to the fact that you could feel how her hips moved closer to your face.
"are we- fuck, do we practice the same boxing?" she mumbled, trying to sit up and look at you but ending up squirming even more.
the air, disturbed by the vibration of your laugh, hit her inner thighs. she squeezed them around your head, but your hands quickly parted them back to their previous position.
"i don't know about you, but that's what i practiced." you replaced your tongue with your fingers, rubbing her clit while you pulled away and sat up, letting her see you. "is that something... new for you?"
she whined and moaned out a; 'fuck you', before regaining her composure and adding a more confident; "i can do just as much."
not long after that, your places swapped. you admired how full of energy she was, even though she struggled to speak not long ago.
"what happened to the 'no fucking before an important fight'?" you taunted - your breathless state wasn't enough to stop you from teasing her.
after that, she pushed two of her fingers into your puffy cunt. you gasped as your ability to speak went missing, your cheeks shining with not even bright red as an uncontrollable groan in form of her name escaped your mouth.
"i was just about to ask you 'what happened to you stuttering and blushing everytime you talk to me?'" she made a dramatic pause, letting her fingers pump in and out of you, closely watching your reaction to every move so she would figure out where your sensitive spot was. it took her about two times, or more but really fast ones, your sense of time got ruined and you weren't sure. "but there you are."
𝒄𝒉. 𝒔𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚: You were hoping that you never had to see the mob boss ever again after a one night stand. However, he just so happens to attend your boxing match. It’s only a coincidence, right?

“You know, you could just let it go.”
Bucky rolled his eyes at Steve who was sitting across from him at the table. Bucky had organized a meeting with his most trusted friends: Sam, Natasha, and Steve. They were supposed to be talking about who stole their last shipments but the conversation had shifted towards the one night stand he had a month ago.
“Let it go? She walked out on me, not the other way around. I won’t let her get away with that.”
Bucky pursed his lips as Sam’s smirk never died. He could only stare at his boss and long time friend with a dashing smirk. Bucky couldn’t help but roll his eyes again at his friends. They didn’t understand, he couldn’t let one woman ruin his empire.
Although, if Bucky was being completely honest with himself, he couldn’t stop thinking about you. He couldn’t stop thinking about your laughter after a bottle of whiskey, or your bruised knuckles, or your eyes.
Fuck—your eyes were glorious. The way they dazzled when he talked about nothing in particular or your eyes dilated when his lips met your neck. The way your eyes lit up when you talked about boxing. His heart thumped against his chest like never before.
One night.
One goddamn amazing fucking night.
One night was all it took for Bucky to be completely and utterly taken with you. His stomach churned when he thought about the sweet sounds you made that night.
He was also quite impressed with you. Since the first day you met, you never took any of his shit. Nobody has ever done that before — not even the friends he calls family. You didn’t want anything to do with him on the subway and you didn’t fight for him in the ring, which a lot of people do because of their fear.
But you never gave in, not once.
He couldn’t get you out of his head and it was driving him up the damn wall. When he saw that you had left him there in an empty bed, his heart was crushed into little pieces. Never had anyone ever left him alone in a cold bed. He was always the one to leave first or kick them out.
You were annoyingly headstrong, dumbly naive, stupidly beautiful, and bucky fucking hated it. He hated that all he could think about was your soft skin. He hated that all he could think about was your eyes staring back at him. He hated it so fucking because he isn’t supposed to have these feelings.
He’s the big bad mob boss of Brooklyn. He’s a cold stone killer who gets off on crime. He shouldn’t feel the things he’s feeling with you.
“You like her.” Sam just continued to smirk at his friend. Bucky’s heart thudded in his chest more rapidly at the idea. He did like you. He liked you a lot. For the whole month, he couldn’t get you out of his head.
“You’re being ridiculous. I don’t like her.” Sam’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. Normally, Barnes was a cocky little shit and paraded on and on about the women he’s been with. This was the first time he’d ever denied it.
You were different. You rubbed him the wrong way, in every way, but he couldn’t help but think about you.
“Damn, you like like her. You’ve got it bad.” Natasha took a sip of her beer, her right eyebrow was slightly raised. Sam and Steve continued to relentlessly tease and prod him for being infatuated with some girl.
But Natasha knew it was more than that. She saw the little smile he had when they teased him. She saw that he fidgeted a bit and a blush crept up his neck every single time he thought about you.
It looked as if Bucky Barnes, the baddest man in all of Brooklyn, had found love at first sight.
“Shouldn’t we be on the topic of who's stealing my shipments, Wilson?”
~~
Stupid. Punch. Fucking. Punch. Barnes. Punch.
Your knuckles throbbed against your skin, you could feel them bruising already. You couldn’t get that stupid mobster out of your head. For the past month, you’ve done nothing but try to avoid him.
You’d see his bodyguards in front of Carol’s gym so you would use the back door. Sometimes you’d see his car waiting outside or Bucky himself would be standing outside but you’d use the side entrance instead.
It’s not that you didn’t want to see him. You honestly did, that burning desire had settled right into your stomach. However, you didn’t want to get tangled in shit you shouldn’t be tangled in. You needed to focus on your career and boxing career, not some mobster that you can’t seem to get out of your head.
“If Carol knows you’re here, practicing before a match, she’ll kill you.”
A sigh leaves your mouth as you look to see Shuri leaning on one of the other punch bags that was rooted in the ground. You looked down to see your knuckles somewhat bloody—stinging slightly.
“I know. I’m just stressed.”
Shuri grabbed an ice pack from out of the freezer from the corner of the room and handed it over. You pressed them against your knuckles and relished in the cool feeling it gave on your slightly swollen knuckles.
“Thinking about a certain mobster?”
Her eyes twinkled with tease, and she sat on the wooden bench next to the punching bags. Another sigh left your lips and you nodded, walking over to sit next to her on the bench.
“I don’t know, Shuri. It’s like my brain is in spirals every time I think about him. I think about how hard he laughed when I told a story that night. I think about kissing his lips and looking into those damn eyes—those damn blue eyes rarely leave my head.”
She looked at you with sorrow-filled eyes. She opened her arms and you leaned into her touch, resting yourself on her lap. You were lucky to have a friend like her.
“What’s stopping you?”
She moved her thumb up and down your arm in a soothing motion. You close your eyes, letting your emotions settle deep inside within your heart.
“I don’t know anything about him. And I certainly don’t know the things that he’s done but I imagine it’s not all good things.”
You paused, lifting yourself off of Shuri’s lap to look at her fully. You needed to know what the hell was going on with you. You’ve never acted this way around any of your other partners. Bucky made you want to rip your hair out of your head in frustration but also made you want to make love to him on a rainy day.
“But it feels like we’re… I don’t know. It’s stupid-”
“Soulmates?” She inquired, then laughed at the bewildered expression on your face. She knew you didn’t mean soulmates, but she also knew you did mean that too. There was something different about Bucky that made your heart soar.
“Not to that level but, yeah. It’s like we’re meant to be together.”
The idea of soulmates almost makes you want to laugh but maybe it was another cliche like ‘love at first sight.’ Whatever it was, you wanted to get to the bottom of it. You wanted to be near him, to be with him.
“All I know is, you’ve never been this way with a guy.” She looked at the time and sat up, gesturing that the two of you need to run to the stadium before it’s too late.
“C’mon, I want you to come test out my new project.”
~~
Some of Carol’s assistants make sure that your gloves are secure on your hands. Gamora is preparing you for the tournament. You nod at whatever she’s saying but it’s hard to pay attention from all the screaming in the crowd.
You lock eyes with your opponent, Hope Van Dyne. She looks at you with a raised eyebrow but you can’t help but form a little smile. Even though boxing culture likes to pin women against each other, you were never one to follow those rules. All of you were just doing what you loved.
She still has her eyebrows raised, but she cracks a small smile back at you.
You break the contact and look across the stadium. Thousands of people were gathered for this event, and they were cheering like no tomorrow in your presence. Your eyes scan the crowd and you see Shuri and her brother waving at you. You smile back and give a little wave.
However, your whole body freezes as you recognize a face in the crowd. You see Steve’s blonde hair stricken itself in the vast majority of the crowd. He was walking down to the front row which means that if he’s here-
Your eyes trail down to where he was heading and you lock eyes with that fucking mobster, Bucky. His gray ocean eyes were staring right back at yours and you couldn’t look away. You didn’t want to look away.
A smirk settled right on his face, and man, did you want to kiss— uh, punch. Yeah, you wanted to punch him right in those pretty pink lips.
Your attention is diverted as the ringleader lifts the rope and comes inside the ring. Carol is yelling at you, giving you as much advice as she can before the match starts.
You find yourself nodding at whatever she’s saying before your eyes flicker over to Bucky’s again—you tell yourself it’s just for safe measure. He winks back at you, that damn smug smirk still resting on his lips.
“Round One!” the number girl walks around, your eyes locking with Hope’s. The ring girl moves out of the way, the referee stands nearby—watching your every move. You dance around each other for a while, testing and teasing one another.
Hope makes the first swing, which you immediately dodge. You watch as she curses slightly, sweat dripping down her chin. Your gloves started to feel heavy already, despite being used to them.
The heavy sweat on your body didn’t help, you needed to focus. This time, you made the first move. You almost got her too, the uppercut just barely missing her jaw. Her smirk was prominent, which just made you grimace. You hear Carol’s advice ring through your head, so you relax your shoulders and close your eyes.
Immediately, out of nowhere you snap your eyes open and swing to your right. Your glove landed right in the middle of her rib cage. She stumbled back with a gasp leaving her lips, and you watched as her eyes narrowed slightly towards you.
But what you didn’t see coming was the uppercut she gave right back, her glove hitting you square in the jaw. This has dazed you quite a bit, some blood squirting out of your mouthguard. You stumble backward, landing on your knees. You can faintly hear the referee call out so you stumble back up, not letting him count another number.
The two of you dance for a while again—dodging and blocking one another. Round after round, punching and dodging which all the more made you tired. Your jaw was hit three times, she knew that was a weakness. Her rib cage was hit three times, you knew her right foot had a weakness.
The referee looked at the two of you before starting the match again, Carol and Gamora shouting at you—trying to become louder than the crowd. You lock eyes with Hope again, a smirk coming up to her face again as she tries to hit you with another uppercut.
Luckily, you saw this one coming so you quickly grab it and put her in a hold. One punch—two—three—and she shoves you off of her, the referee yelling at the crowd while the crowd yells back at him.
You felt slightly dizzy from the shove but you knew she was worse, she just got three punches to the gut. In a sudden flash, Hope latches onto you and traps you in around her. She’s got you completely stuck, and she delivers the same blows except for one, only enduring two punches before you shove her off.
You rest your hands on your knees for a second, trying to steady yourself and you watch as Hope tries to do the same. Your body feels limp from the hours of dancing around each other and the punches you endured from her.
The crowd was practically on the edge of their seat as they watched the two of you stand there and regain your composure. You close your eyes slightly, breathe in and out to calm yourself down. Your mouthguard was red at this point—the taste of copper was overwhelming.
Your eyes snap open in a flash and you run up to her, striking a punch that hit straight into her chest. God, she was really good. You knew professional boxing would be hard but holy fuck this was the hardest match you had ever faced.
The wind was knocked out of her, the referee yelling to the crowd while the crowd cheered back. She was knocked back on her feet, body slamming into the cushioned ring. It almost felt silent, your ears ringing like no tomorrow as you stared wide-eyed at your opponent.
The referee bent down, counting to ten, and watched her closely to see if she was able to stand. Her eyes were closed shut and you almost felt sick to your stomach. You didn’t mean to knock her out.
The referee completes his counting, her team running over to her. The ref walks up to you and holds your arm up in the air—your smile as bright as it can be.
You did it. Your first professional match. And you won.

You sat on one of the benches in the locker room, a cold town wrapped around your neck. You inspected your knuckles, the pressure of hitting and the glove had made them ache and bleed. Your jaw had a large bruise, it started to swell already.
You were inspecting your injuries in the locker mirrors when you saw the all too familiar mob boss waltz right in.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the boxing champion.”
You just rolled your eyes, a string of curses leave your mouth as you disinfect your knuckles. They stung pretty goddamn bad.
“You know, doll, last month-” he watches you fiddle with the bandage, another string of curses leave your mouth from not being able to hold it down.
With two hands throbbing and swollen, it was kind of hard to put a bandage on them. He kneels down, so he’s right in front of you. He gently takes your hand and you watch with an awe stricken face as he delicately wraps the bandaid on the pads of your knuckles.
You look up from the wound and stare into his eyes—noticing that he was already looking at you. Your eyes flickered back and forth between his, those blue eyes were captivating. It was like he was sucking you into a deep void of just him.
Your mouth was quick, blurting out the sentence that kept running through your head, “want to get out of here?”
He smiled like never before, eyes sparkling—teasing almost. This naturally made you become flustered, you started to fiddle with your hands as he continued to not say a word.
Finally, he speaks with that smirk etched across his face, “only if you promise you won’t leave in the morning.”
He took you to his car, which surprised you when it was him that actually drove instead of one of his lackeys. You get into the passenger seat, and he immediately drives off, heading to his mansion.
When you arrived, you noticed that no guards or his friends were around. You assumed there were at least some guards but maybe they were told to try and be hidden. His mansion was large, with gold and yellows fluttering across the walls.
You walk over to the coffee table and pick up a bottle of wine, pour some for yourself and Bucky. He walks over and takes the glass from you, his lips pressed into that dashing smirk. Yeah, you were definitely going to have fun with him.
For the rest of the night, the two of you become quite busy running and dancing around the big house. It was relaxing to be around each other and just be yourselves, you could tell that Bucky was enjoying your company too.
You giggled, swaying your fourth glass of wine in your hand, while Bucky laughed at your demeanor. Bucky walked over and pressed something on his phone, resulting in some jazz playing throughout the house.
Prior to the wine and jazz, you had talked for hours about whatever was related to the conversation. You laughed together and teased one another, enjoying the other’s presence.
His large hands went to rest on your hips, the two of you drunkenly swaying about in his large living room. Your arms were wrapped around his neck and your head was buried in the crook of his neck. He pulled you even closer by securing his hands around your hips.
You lift your head and stare at the mob boss in front of you, trying to memorize every detail of his chestnut hair or the structure of his nose. Bucky moved his hands, so they rested on your cheek, his heart was beating a mile a minute and his stomach was flip flopping at the beauty of yourself.
He didn’t know what this feeling was, but he liked it. Oh, did he really like it. He started to lean in while your eyes fluttered closed, his lips placing themselves on yours. His lips were soft and wet, tongue tasted like wine. Your hands immediately went into fists on his chest, your mouths moving in sync and enveloping each other with passionate promises.
His hands worked their way down your figure, trying to touch every square inch of your body. You tasted oh so sweet, like cherry lip balm and crystal red wine. You were running out of breath but you didn’t care. Your lips were locked, tongues exploring, hands shaking, and you weren’t about to let this go.
Deep down you knew you shouldn’t be here with him. You knew it was a terrible idea. But, you couldn’t stop, you didn’t want to stop. You wanted to touch his lips, tracing your fingers around his face. You wanted to dance like this on nights where you knew you’d be alone together. You wanted to bake cookies with him but let it result in a food fight.
You didn’t want this night to end.
He quickly separated from the kiss and before you could protest, his forehead rested on top of yours. His smile only got wider at the sound of your laughter, his hands coming up to rest on your cheeks again.
Bucky creased his eyebrows in confusion at the buzz that started in his pocket. He told Nat, Sam, and Steve to leave him alone for the night because you were here. He then looked down at his phone, and all he could feel was the dread in the pit of his stomach.
Unknown Number: Pretty girl you got there, isn’t it?
Unknown Number: It would be a shame if somebody killed her.
