John Challis (16 August 1942 – 17 September 2021) first appeared as Boycie in "Go West Young Man". It was the second episode of the first series of Only Fools and Horses and originally broadcast on 15 September 1981.

John Challis RIP
John Challis who played Boycie in Only Fools and Horses sadly passed away today. I was lucky to meet him at a ComiCon in Bath some years back, a very nice man who will be missed.
This is Boycie my 9 week old Airedale. Really enjoyed my first week with him. Really settling well [x]
