Bridgerton couples costume for halloween? 🎃
Couples Halloween Costumes:
Now i’ve got a fic i’m gonna be writing (maybe two I haven’t decided but I’m defo writing one in the Teen Au thing so… i’m just gonna give you some of the ideas that I’ve had and these are within the Bridgerton Enterprise AU)
Kanthony: First proper Halloween party Anthony refused to dress up… Upon a little bit of bribery, he did eventually dress up as Mark Anthony, to Kate’s Cleopatra. The Following Halloween was the Ghostbusters with little 7 month old Edmund as Mr Stay Puft. They have also done Morticia and Gomes, they’ve done Joker and Harely Quinn but they go more PG later as the kids get older. When Kate said she was going to dress as Medusa one year, Anthony kept his costume a secret and rocked up as Perseus.
Benophie: Now these two like to have some fun. First Halloween they did Superwoman and Superman (cause Ben calls her Superman) they’ve done Wonderwoman and Steve. Mary Poppins and Burt. Sophie’s favourite was Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo, with 6 month old Charlie as a Drogon. When all three boys are little they reprieve this look but with Ben as Jon Snow and all three boys as Dragons and Baby Vivi looked ADORABLE dressed as Ghost. They really get into it as a family. Benedict’s favourite was Peter Pan and Sophie as Tinkerbelle, the boys as the lost boys. He did really enjoy Sophie ripping his tights off that night when they got home (it may or may not be the night Vivi was conceived)
Polin: much to a few of the families annoyance, they rocked up to their first halloween as Pennywise. (Anthony, Sophie, Greg all hate clowns - Sophie was so terrified she and Ben left early) they’ve done day of the dead couples, somehow they managed to convince Philip and Eloise to partake in dressing up and they all rocked up as the Scooby Doo Gang, Colin was Fred, Pen was Daphne, Eloise Velma, Phillip Shaggy and the twins dressed as Scrappy and Scooby. (the twins fought over this and were bribed into taking part)
Saphne: Daphne was pregnant for their first few, and Simon refused to dress up but as the girls got older he got into the spirit (after the Ghostbusters and Daphne’s reaction to his costume he was on board) he does regret letting Daphne dress him as Justin Timberlake though as Anthony, Benedict and Colin all fell of their chairs laughing at him dressed in all that denim. He did enjoy Aladdin and Jasmine, and Moana and Maui (though he was bloody cold all night)
Philoise: It took a lot of convincing to get Phillip to dress up. He dressed as Louis Tully when the Ghostbusters theme ran, Eloise dressed as Gozer and they dressed the twins as the terror dogs. He tries to get away with a t-shirt that says “this is my halloween costume” until Sophie makes his entire family costumes from Little Shop of Horrors and he’s on board more. Eloise isn’t one for a couple costumes really but does enjoy dressing up.
Franchel: Bonnie and Clyde, for three halloweens on the bounce Michael dressed as Braveheart… and Fran spends the night as Queen Isabelle chasing him to make sure he keeps his kilt down… cause you know, he’s a scot and he’s authentic! Pulp Fiction was one of Fran’s favourites
Grecy: Cinderella and Prince Charming, they dress up as Bernadette and Howard from Big Bang Theory, Lilo and Stitch, Where’s Wally as a couple, they did Bella and Edward from Twilight. They did Cosmo and Wanda as well from Fairy Godparents.
Hyreth: Frankenstine and Frankenstine’s bride, Bettlejuice and his bride. Hyacinth is very much a “it’s supposed to be scary” for her costumes. She loves doing a Zombie themed one. Chucky and the Bride of Chucky was one of her favourites, until it made her nieces cry. She rather enjoys dressing up as the girl from the Shining, as she did terrify her two oldest brothers, making them scream like girls in front of their wives the first Halloween she did it.
