PISTOLERA & SIR-BARK-A-LOT - D&D
Watch this gameplay reveal trailer for Shadow of War. Here's a short list of things that have been revealed: - Multiple locations inside and beyond Mordor are accessible. Osgiliath, Minas Ithil/Morgul, the Gorgoroth plains, the Nurnen seaside, mountainous Seregost and the path of Cirith Ungol. - Fire breathing drakes are available as mounts - The armies you fight and command are composed of both Uruk (orc) and Olog (troll) warriors, and the warchiefs and bosses can be of either species. - Every part of the mission depicted is supposedly dynamic, from the name and species of the commanders on either side, to their history as supporters/opponents/betrayers of eithet Sauron or Talion/Celebrimbor. Even the throne rooms of the overlords are supposed to change dynamically with their interests. - Conquering a fortress apparently changes the architecture into a mock-elvish style with golden arches and attempts at beautification. Celebrimbor was probably serious when he said he would redeem Mordor and the Orcs. - The characters you put in command of your army can betray you, cheat death, come to your rescue. And they probably react to whether or not you promote them for their deeds. I do wonder if they're trying to still set this game in the canon of the books and movies, at least nominally. Mordor and Gondor are at war almost constantly between the Hobbit and LOTR, so I suppose this is the conflict that's being depicted.
Okay the Bright Lord dlc for Shadow of Mordor actually makes sense to me. Sauron is said to have poured his malice and cruelty into the Ring so Celebrimbor wouldn’t be expecting it to be different to the normal Rings of Power. So when the One starts to influence his actions and mind then he would not be expecting it so wouldn’t notice and defend himself from it. Thus leading him from trying to escape and find a way through the ‘darkness’ to him actively trying to rule over Mordor and Sauron himself.
i've got ideas, and i use that word loosely;
the Dark Lord of War, the Dark Lord of Envy, the Dark Lord of Pestilence, the Dark Lord of Wrath, the Dark Lord of Famine, the Dark Lord of Fear, the Dark Lord of Sloth, the Dark Lord of Decay, the Dark Lord of Greed, the Dark Lord of Fire, the Dark Lord of Pride, the Dark Lord of Gluttony, the Dark Lord of Lust, and the Dark Lord of Ruination.
the Bright Lord of Chastity, the Bright Lord of Temperance, the Bright Lord of Charity, the Bright Lord of Diligence, the Bright Lord of Hope, the Bright Lord of Kindness, the Bright Lord of Patience, the Bright Lord of Unity, the Bright Lord of Humility, and the Bright Lord of Flourishment,

I thoroughly enjoyed Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit movies. I’ve watched them so many times it seems I could recite the script at this point. Naturally, this lead me to be a fan of their many games. From straight forward turn based games to the expansive open worlds of RPG’s, I’ve played just about every game taking place in the realm of the Lord Of The Rings.
