Wrote a really long post about the history of Britain and how that is brought up in the context of claims of 'nativeness' to these islands but not sure if people'd be interested in that.
If you would like to see that post interact with this post (either like or reblog) and I might be able to finish writing the original post and post it before this evening.

History of the Welsh language
Welsh is an ancient Celtic language that has been spoken in Britain for many hundreds of years. This may leave you wondering why not all Welsh people speak Welsh. In order to answer this, we have to take a look at the history of Wales and the Welsh language.
Check out the Banssus Brittonon community on Discord - hang out with 59 other members and enjoy free voice and text chat.
So this is the Brittonic (Brythonic) project I’ve been working on. With the success of Gaulchat (active with 200+ members!) I am working with members of the Brittonic community to get them on their feet with their own community discord.
The idea is that I’ll grow it over a period of time, promote members of the community to administration and moderation positions, and eventually hand it off.
We’re already doing weekly guided discussions, helping members develop names in the language, come check it out!
