BTS has know Halsey for awhile now.

There are a couple of videos of them hanging out together.

BUT some people are NOW unstanning BTS because they're collaborating with Halsey and she's problematic........

Your reason for unstanning them sounds like bullshit to me but whatever.

I'm not saying she's not problematic. I don't know what she's done in the past because I don't follow her that closely but if it was really about her being problematic you would have dropped BTS a while back.

You don't have to like that they did a song with her or even listen to "Boy With Luv" but unstanning BTS for this reason alone shows how little you cared about them to begin with.

Ahh... so now after the Jonas Brother said they would like to work with Blackpink... after the Jonas brothers just had their comeback and are doing amazing right now all of a sudden they are “old and irrelevant wash up Disney stars” even though the Jonas brothers were one of the first American acts to work with a kpop group back in 2009 and back in 2016 joe met up with Minzy and talked about wanting to work for GD.

And if it’s not that it’s YG looking for western validation which makes no sense to me. Well, at least they don’t hop on everyone that gives them an ounce of attention and it sure doesn’t matter that if artist is problematic. Yet they love to raise hell on any minor “problematic” thing a yg artist does.... like when Hoony hit Ilhoon on the head and apologized for it.

It’s also really funny to me how after the Jonas Brothers said they want to work with BP all of a sudden Bebe Rexha comes around out of nowhere and says they want to work with TXT... and what else is funny is that Dua Lipa showed up at BP last leg of the US tour to perform Kiss and Make Up then when BTS finished their “western” part of their tour all of a sudden Halsey shows up to perform BWL.

I was keeping it to my self about being skeptical of bighit mimicking BB and YGent for a while because there’s always going to be similarities and borderline coincidences... but there’s just so many coincidences at this point.

How many of y'all that chose to unstan BTS because of Halsey feel now that it was revealed at Coachella that she has a man?? Seeing as y'all were so worried that she was "stealing BTS away from ARMY". 🙄🙄

Stay Calm and Carry On

Yooo...probably an unpopular opinion but some people need to CALM DOWN. I have seen comments all over the place about the Halsey x BTS teaser that BH dropped.

On one side of the coin - Disappointment. Frustration. Disgust.

On the other side of the coin - trust BTS. You’re not Army if you don’t blindly love everything they put out there.

Folks...some of y’all forgot who BTS is and it shows. They are musical artists trying to spread a message. Churning out music with no substance or grit for the masses isn’t what they’re about. Getting their message across and staying true to the end goal is who they have become. They collaborated with Halsey because...hang tight to your seats...they wanted to. Gasp. I know. How dare they not consult your Spotify playlist or your “How to properly release a Title Track” and “Top 10 Acceptable Artists to Collab With” handbooks first.

My point is this...wait for the release. Listen to it. And THEN decide how you feel. That’s what BTS would hope for, IMHO, a chance to make an impact with their music. But you get to be the judge of how positive or negative that impact feels.

None of us has ANY idea how this track is ultimately going to turn out/sound. Speculation and prehysterics is ridiculous and a waste of time. Just my thoughts.
