The OA 1.05 "Paradise"
It’s been awhile.
for pride month i think i'm going to write a video essay about how the OA is non-binary representation... does anyone have any posts/research/etc they could point my way that i could ponder and perhaps include!!!! i'll give u credit ofc >:)
this is silly but very important to me as a huge fan of the oa and a non-binary person who has always felt a deep connection to the show and the character... and bc im a fan that means she has to be nonbinary >:)
Cringetober Day 29: Experimental Makeup
(Ian Alexander is my inspiration for this prompt).
Favorite Transgender Man Character in media
Viktor Hargreeves (Umbrella Academy)
Theo Putnam (Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina)
Paul Strickland (9-1-1: Lonestar)
Lev (the Last of Us: Part 2)
Buck Vu (the OA)
Cole (the Fosters)
Gray Tal (Star Trek: Discovery)
Jake Rodriguez (Netflix's Tales of the City)
*due to the chronic under-representation of transmasc characters in media overall, this list is admittedly a little shorter compared to my other entries.
We definitely need to work on getting more trans men rep out there.
the last five minutes of the season 1 finale of the OA are a religious experience
