SFW Shino Aburame Relationship Headcanons (as requested❤️)

Shino doesn’t have much of a preference when it comes to looks. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He just wants someone genuine. As far as he is concerned, looks fade. But what’s in your heart lasts a lifetime.

I feel like he’d be the kind of guy that’s speaks more with his actions. I’m talking personalized gifts and activities!

He wouldn’t know what to do with himself at first and would ask himself “why do they like me? How?” He’s typically looked over and the fact that someone finally sees him and doesn’t forget him makes him feel warm inside.💕

His significant other would be nearly the only thing on his mind. He would be counting down the minutes until he gets to see them again.

He would send some of his insects around you just to keep an eye out. He’s super protective and just wants to insure you’re safe no matter where you go.

He craves cuddles!! He’s really soft with his significant other. 🥺He absolutely loves the intimacy of being close to one another.

Shino really enjoys someone who can have deep conversations. He spends a lot of his time in his own mind. So when he’s around his significant other, it’s game on. He’s excited to share his thoughts with someone and hear their thoughts as well. 💞

He would remember small details about you. ❤️Just things that you might say in passing. You might say that you don’t like the way the color red looks on you. He will go out of his way to never buy you anything red. He pays attention to everything you say and do.

 He also gravitates toward really independent people. He wants somebody that can take care of themselves and don’t rely on other people. He’s always happy to help but also values some independence in a partner.

Shino is incredibly empathetic. He’s always there to be your shoulder to cry on. And if somebody hurt you, you best believe he’s going to take care of it. Nobody hurts his S/O.  

Shino is the marriage type. He’s the type to want at least one child and live happily ever after with his significant other. He looks to live a rather peaceful life.

Shino is the jealous type. Not the crazy type of jealous but enough that if he sees someone else flirting with you, he’s going to feel some type of way about it. He trusts you. But he can’t help but wonder if you’d lose interest. Be gentle with his heart🥺

He loves to show his significant other various insects he finds on their walks together. Especially if it’s a rare species of bug. Then he gets super excited and starts reciting any facts he can think of about them. It’s rather cute. 🥰

He has dreams of discovering a new insect species and naming it after his significant other. 🪲

He has journals up on journals. What does he do with them? Logs all the bug species he runs across.📓 He’s always excited to show his significant other what the insects are doing.

He is easily flustered when his significant other compliments him. He’s not used to getting complimented and doesn’t know how to react. He just sheepishly smiles and avoids eye contact for a moment.

Secretly daydreams about his future with his S/O. I also feel like he has a journal for that too.

My husband was looking at my brand new Morphe X James Charles eyeshadow palette over the phone and he was reading the names out load and a green shadow read “Daddy”.

I quickly said, “Ooh, it’s the shade for Bug Daddy, huh?”
