Summary
At the age of 23 Sakura falls into a friends-with-benefits relationship with Kakashi, trying to forget the horrors of war, relieving stress, finding solace in one another with casual sex, no stings attached. When Sakura makes a discovery that is about to change her life forever she hides from him - one might say for too long. ------ “I'm sorry” he tells her in a rush, “It was a long, long day, and I know we agreed that once one of us quits this we just move on but-” his breath hits her neck, his hands tenderly grab her waist - and then he stops. He pulls back and confusion takes over his face. If this moment wasn’t so nerve wrecking she'd laugh at the look on his face. Her hands find a strong grip behind her on her kitchen counter to stabilize herself – but it doesn't help the slightest – it reveals her condition even more. Sakura watches in horror as he slowly opens her cardigan and starts to feel around her hips and abdomen. She lets him, there is no use in denying it now.
Sometimes the right path is not the easiest….
