Reposted from @officialpaulburrell Lincoln Cathedral, once the tallest building in the world, is quite spectacular. In 1290, Queen Eleanor of Castile, the wife of King Edward I, died close by. Her heart was buried here and her body was taken in a funeral procession to Westminster Abbey in London. This is an incredible building and well worth a visit.
