PoV: your favorite superhero is super niche and nobody knows them.
Here's a collection of some of my cosmic based Marvel minimalism designs!
Best Captain Marvel?
Mar-Vell
Carol Danvers
Billy Batson
got a long list of Starbucks lovers
I've made this comparison before, but not in months. Captain Mar-Vell (Marvel's first Captain Marvel) was killed off in 1982. Jason Todd was killed off in 1988. That's a six year gap. And do you know who wrote both stories? Jim Starlin. Jim Starlin was a jackass who always seemed to love death. It shows up in all his stories. And jim starlin killing two characters within six years...I think that says something about him.
It also says something that he wanted to give Jason Todd AIDS, even trying to rig a DC writers poll in his own favour for that one. And he wrote the permanent death of Captain Marvel just because he didn't want to pay for therapy when his dad died. These are real stories I collected off of wikipedia, and I hate jim starlin for all of these things. I feel like my old posts on this topic went more in depth, but I still hate him for this stuff.
OMFG MAR-VELL CRUMBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alien vs Captain America issue 2
Rick Jones is really that character that gets used whenever you need someone.
You're Bruce Banner's best friend who caused him to be the hulk because he saved you from a gamma bomb, okay yikes: that's enough excitement for one lifetime.
But sure you can also become Captain America's sidekick, everyone needs a hobby.
Yeah sure you can be the sidekick of Captain Marvel and somehow get powers, that's normal right.
