my dearest beloved @mothdogs tagged me in a “7 comfort films & 7 tags” game so i shall make my first text post in ten years for it: 

1. howl’s moving castle. don’t @ me i’m chilling.

2. pride and prejudice (2005). if i could live in the shot of kiera knightley walking across the moors to soaring and shimmering violins i would, ok 

3. to all the boys i’ve loved before. sweetest ya adaptation ever and the soundtrack is so good and lana condor is so cute.

4. pacific rim. smashy smashy giant robots

5. star trek iv, the one with the whales. this was the first piece of star trek media i ever ever watched and while i had exactly 0 context for it i had a great time. 

6. the mummy (1999). bisexual awakening, and my kingdom for ardeth bay to have gotten his own spinoff. 

7. captain america: the winter soldier. my love for bucky barnes burns eternal

Lately I’ve been rereading a lot of Clint/coulson fanfictions... I don’t really know why. But the thing is I can only re-read fanfic I’ve read before (just after the first avengers) because thoses fictions ruined me for any new CC fic that would take on what happen in Agents of Shield and Captain America the winter soldier.

The things with those old fic is that people took Agent Jasper Sitwell and most often than not turn him into Phil’s best friends. And he is funny and they banter and it’s great. So when CAtWS get out... I was crushed because Agent Sitwell is Hydra and that fucked me up because even though he was a minor character he was one of my fav because of the fictions. Not only that but SHIELD fell and I love all the fictions with SHIELD and babies agents and Phil being a legend and Maria closed to Tasha and the senior Agent having friday night together and the paperwold that being the handler of the Avengers involve etc....

Don’t get me wrong I love Agents of Shield, I love skye and May and Ward and everyone but I loved Jasper too.

I’m writing this because yesterday I made the mistake of reading a fic I’ve never read before and it was good but there was the Agents of SHIELD’s people and it make me sad. I really wanted AoS to be more like the fanfic I guess. Which is unfair because the serie is great but yeah....

Also still mad that no one told Tasha and Clint for Coulson since if you’re level 7 you can know (AoS ep 1 with ward being you know choosen) and I’m pretty sure they are/were level 7 agents in SHIELD + Coulson had been their Handler. So Why are they not aware? And if they are why no one told us?? 

tl;dr: despite my love for AoS and CAtWS I hate the canon they propose me and choose to ignore everything they told me and hide in the old CC fanfic. (and since there is an old CC fanfic where they find the winter soldier and it’s great I’m picking this one. Besides it’s stucky so it’s even greater. I just need a fiction to introduce sam wilson and I’m good. At least in my head Jasper Sitwell is still Phil’s friends and it’s great!)
